Izhodišča za oblikovanje strategije razvoja turizma v občini Cerkno : diplomska naloga

Slovenian countryside is known to be one of the most beautiful pieces of Europe. Intacted nature with affluence of natural and cultural monuments and sights worth seeing presents a considerable ...potencial for tourism development.Cerkno region, located in the north western part of Slovenia presents s great example of intacted countryside. Tourist offer is based uponski center Cerkno, which is one of the best ski centers in Slovenia and several tourist farms. There is still a lot of unexploited potencials for tourism development in the greater area of Cerkno region which could be used to develop various forms of tourist offer. Latest trends in tourism demand worldwide show, that all forms of tourist offer that include relaxation and active holidays in unspoilled nature atract more and more tourists. In other words, the Cerkno region has what a modern tourist wants. In order to create asuccessful tourist product, a long-term tourism development strategy will have to be developed. An adequate strategy will assure economically succesful and sustainable tourism development without excessive bad influence to local habitants or nature.
