Living is a key concept of the social sciences and tourism practices are one of the most emblematic behaviors of the emergence of a society with mobile individuals. Addressing this issue through the prism of the social group of tourists in motorhome allows to highlight the existence of an identity of movement within the group. The methodology involved a long period of participant observation and 18 more recent interviews. Strategies and routines for moving and parking seem to define a common way of living. However, it is possible to identify variations according to the relation to safety, the practices of mobility or the will of distinction, which lead to the proposal of three great types of tourists in motorhome.
