    Swearing-In and Proclamation of Isabel II, in 1833, different cities organize theatrical performances. In them the female characters and the female actors who represent them are very important because they evoke, directly or indirectly, the circumstances and the ideal virtues of the young Queen. In this paper we analyse some of these theatrical performances, the female protagonism of them and their purpose: to justify the legitimacy of the young Isabel.
