    The present study was carried out on six German shepherd dogs diagnosed with canine ehrlichiosis based on history and other clinical sign including high rectal termperature, tick infestion, clinical haematology and serum biochemistry. All six dogs were treated with intravenous oxytetracycline along with dextrose normal saline followed by oral administration of doxycycline along with hepatoprotectant and other supportive medicines. All the dogs were recovered completely within 15 days of post treatment. Keywords: Canine ehrlichiosis; doxycycline; oxytetracycline
