Heterostructured MOF‐on‐MOF thin films combined with van der Waals forces offer functionality beyond that of a single MOF layer. In their Communication on page 14915 ff., G. Xu et al. present a device that combines molecular sieving and chemiresistive sensing MOF layers. The MOF‐on‐MOF thin film demonstrates the highest response to benzene among reported recoverable chemiresistive sensing materials active at room temperature.
