The Parliament of Jamaica marked Commonwealth Day 2023 and the Commonwealth Year of Youth with the youth forum which was opened by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert, MP. Youth participants from local schools heard from organizations who presented on various issues concerning youth engagement including health and wellness; safety and security; financial knowledge; career development; and youth expression. The forum was also supported by the South African, UK and Nigerian High Commissions in Jamaica and featured exhibitions from public and private sector entities.
