What is a Kilim, what it represented and what does it stand for now? Visual artist Loukia Richards retraces the origins of the hand-woven kilim, a carpet that she has always seen on the floor of her family home in Leonidio, Greece, and that sparked her interest in the political and social value of craftsmanship.
