  • Business performance models in management information systems : information quality issues

    Management information systems in past years have introduced several concepts and technologies. However these concepts and technologies have not solved the problem of information quality in ... management information systems. Business performance measurement based management information system takes a holistic approach to the implementation and monitoring of strategy. Metrics level of management information system can be self developed for certain organization or can be based on systematic approaches. Therefore we can talk about a shift from traditional based key performance indicators in management information systems to business performance models based key performance indicators in management information systems. In the paper we will briefly discuss some viewpoints of so called business metrics driven approach to management information systems.
