    Presented reference model shows development steps for implementation of the shop floor control system in small batch production and its integration into factory information system. The objective of ... the proposed system is data collection of important events during manufacturing phase. With analysis of the collected data feedback information for controlling the production is provided. The feedback information supports decision on the shop floor.Presented system uses bar codes for marking of the objects of interest. Conceptual data base for the shop floor control as a part in the factory information system is outlened in more detail. Presented system was tested in Litostroj turbine factory and the resultsshow that with the chosen attributes critical tasks and production plan distortion can be detected and managed efficiently.
