    The results of static contact angle measurements of various vapour-liquid-solid and liquid-liquid-solid systems using materials of technical quality are presented and critically discussed in ... comparison to ideally pure materials and surfaces. The results show a statistically by significant difference between contact angles for materials of ideal and technical purity, the latter having lower contact angles and therefore exhibiting better wettability of real surfaces by the organic dispersed phase
