Although as many as 10 per cent of respondents are convinced that in cases of bankruptcy of our enterprises becoming bankrupt, nobody is victimized, as a matter of fact the damage caused by ... bankruptcy is as much again as the damage, assessed by a similar methodology, in the USA. The victims are above all employees and society. Among the creditors, suppliers suffer more harm, borrowers are less victimized, while the managers of enterprise are not victimized at all. It is not yet possible to prevent damage simply by avoiding bankruptcy. The damage is caused although and also because the bankruptcy procedure in a particular enterprise was not undertaken. The characteristics, forms and the extent of the damage are, of course, different in these cases.
