    In present internationalization of banking business international rating of banks is becoming increasingly important. It leads to lower prices for credits obtained by banks and enables easier ... inclusion of banks in the international loan sindicates. Slovenian banking sector has the best credit rating among all countries in transition but it lags significantly behind the ratings for the best banks in the world. It's important to join efforts to improve Slovenian banks' rating by improving external environment (the task of Government and Central Bank) and financial and business performance of individual banks (their internal task).
