    Investigations of the larynxes in thirty infants during the first year of lifeand 10 adults, of both sexes, were performed by the morphometric and antrophomerical measurements. Morphometric ... parameters of the larynx-length (anterolateral parameter), width (transverse parameter) and thickness (anteroposterior parameter), were determined. These parameters determine the size and shape of the larynx. The anterolateral, transverse and anteroposterior parameters of the larynx are statistically significantly correlated with the body length, head and chest circumference in infants. Anatomical morphometric analysis is very important for the determination of the diameters of endotracheal tubes in paediatrics.
