  • Perforativna keratoplastika
    Pfeifer, Vladimir, 1955- ; Schwartzbartl-Grošelj, Marija-Ana
Background. Penetrating keratoplasty (PK) is the most frequent and successful of all transplantation procedures. Thisis possible because of exact criteria for donoz tissue, akoscularty of cornea, ... improvement in tissue persenvation, improved surgical procedure and preventing and treatment of postoperative complications and graft rejection. Many eyes with corneal disorders previously not considered for transplantation are now successfully grafted. The indications for PK have changed over past several years. Conclusions. PK is one of the most difficult surgery procedures. With altraumatic microsurgery, specular microscopy and postoperative treatment the succes rate of PK is greater than 90%.
