    Termovision of the scrotum. Thermographic recordings were made from 87 men with various changes in the scrotal contents. The characteristic findings of normal scrotum, varicocle and scrotal tumor ... were obtained. In the normal scrotal area the surface temperature is symmetrically distribuated. In the patients with caricocele there is in 88,4 % an increased surface temeprature on the patologic side. Termovision is a valuable screening method for the detection of spermatic venous reflux in patients suspected of having subclinical varicocle. As an additional investigational procedure, thermovision permits improvement of preoperative diagnosis of scrotal tumors and control of postoperative treatment of varicocele.
