The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of traffic safety instruction on improving the knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding traffic safety among the normal ...college and university students in Taipei Area.
A quasi-experimental design was used in the study. One hundred and ninety-one sophomores from the normal colleges and university in Taipei Area were selected as the sample. The experimental group was treated with three sessions of traffic safety instruction, while the control group was treated with nothing. Two groups were assessed by the questionnaires before the instruction. The result of the assessment was utilized as the base-line data for posttest and post posttest. The effect of intervention was evaluated by using the questionnaires after three sessions (posttest) and follow-up (post posttest) evaluation in the next two months.
