As a scientific work, thesis is not just a formalities requirement that automatically can lead students to finish their education in bachelor level. It must be argued in munaqasyah (thesis ...examination) that examined by some examiners not only as the test but also as moral and academic responsibilities. It can be as the academical standard or level of the quality of the scholarly works that the students need to fulfil. This study aims the first is to describe the quality of thesis has been made by the students in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in 2010-2012, second to reveal what factors caused the high or low quality of the thesis, third what steps should be taken so that quality of the thesis can increase time by time; and the last is whether there are elements of plagiarism in it, and the percentage of the level of plagiarism in it? To answer the above question, the researcher uses a qualitative research by collecting from the thesis existed by case study Approach.---Sebagai sebuah karya ilmiah, skripsi bukanlah sekedar merupakan syarat formalitas yang scara otomatis dapat mengantar mahasiswa ke jenjang kesarjanaan yang didamba-dambakan. Skripsi harus dipertahankan di depan sidang munaqasyah (sidang ujian skripsi), sebagai ujian peresmian pengujian kadar kualitas karya ilmiah yang dituis mahasiswa. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kualitas keilmiahan skripsi yang dibuat mahasiswa jurusan/prodi bahasa dan sastra Arab tahun 2010-2012, dan secara khusus untuk mengungkapkan factor-faktor apa yang menyebabkan tinggi atau rendahnya kualitas skripsi, langkah-langkah apa yang harus ditempuh agar skripsi mahasiswa berkualitas, dan apakah ada unsur plagiat di dalamnya, serta sejauh mana tingkat plagiatisme tersebut? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan di atas, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif meskipun data-data dikumpulkan secara kuantitatif. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan studi kasus (case-studies).
The objective of this research is to find out the language shift in one of Sundanese dialects known as Bantenese (SBD) and the reasons underlied, in the spoken area of South Tangerang, which could ...bring to endangered of extinction. The SBD is spoken by the native in South Tangerang in several areas along Cisadane river which is adjacent to Tangerang district. The observation was carried out on two things, namely the use of SBD words among the native speakers and the use of Sundanese among children. This is a qualitative-descriptive research using participant observation and informal interviews. Observations were made in six sub-districts, where the majority of the native people are Sundanese. The observation involved observation, interview, taking notes, and recording techniques. The results showed that there was language shift in SBD among the Sundanese ethnic population in South Tangerang. The main reason is the negative perspective of speakers of SBD. As the consequence, the language is not transmitted to next generation thus led to endangerement.
This study aims to reveal the optimization of the use of E-Learning by lecturers and students in learning Arabic during the Covid 19 Pandemic. In addition, this study also shows how E-Learning ...provides a new face for learning models that can improve students' Arabic language skills even though they are studying in conditions without a face-to-face lecturer. This research is qualitative research with a political approach and educational psychology. This study found that Arabic language lecturers have used E-learning optimally, especially in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. It refers to the finding that 52.7% of students stated that implementing E-Learning in Arabic learning was feasible, and even 14% stated it was very feasible. There are 45.7% of students interested in learning Arabic with E-Learning; even 14.7% said they were very interested. 49% of students stated that the material delivered by the lecturer using E-Learning was sufficient; even 10.1% stated it was sufficient. From the findings, it can be concluded that learning Arabic at UIN Jakarta during the Covid 19 pandemic has been going quite well by using E-Learning as optimally as possible.
