In this paper, we propose a new mammogram classification scheme to classify the breast tissues as normal or abnormal. Feature matrix is generated using Local Binary Pattern to all the detailed ...coefficients from 2D-DWT of the region of interest (ROI) of a mammogram. Feature selection is done by selecting the relevant features that affect the classification. Feature selection is used to reduce the dimensionality of data and features that are not relevant, in this paper the F-test and Ttest will be performed to the results of the feature extraction dataset to reduce and select the relevant feature. The best features are used in a Neural Network classifier for classification. In this research we use MIAS and DDSM database. In addition to the suggested scheme, the competent schemes are also simulated for comparative analysis. It is observed that the proposed scheme has a better say with respect to accuracy, specificity and sensitivity. Based on experiments, the performance of the proposed scheme can produce high accuracy that is 92.71%, while the lowest accuracy obtained is 77.08%.
Abstract
Sorting coffee bean nowadays is still done manually, although there is already a support machine for separation through size, but to determine the quality of the seeds remain manual using ...human power. This coffee bean sorting is in the spotlight to research whether it can be more effective if there is a tool that can directly find out the quality of coffee. This system will make it easier for workers in the field. In addition to saving time, costs will decrease and also the work of workers will be reduced. This paper present the implementation of machine learning method to classify the coffee bean quality. The dataset use 90 coffee bean for three classes and 30 for each class. From the experimental result, the highest accuracy obtain 83%.
Rezti’s Batik merupakan UMKM yang bergerak pada produksi dan penjualan kain batik serta sebagai tempat edukasi batik yang berada di Kecamatan Ambulu, Kabupaten Jember yang melakukan secara ...konvensional dan melakukan penjualan online melalui media sosial instagram dan whatsapp. Namun, penjualan yang dilakukan secara online dirasa masih kurang berjalan secara efektif dan efisien. Sehingga dibutuhkan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami yaitu aplikasi penjualan kain batik. Dalam merancang aplikasi, diperlukan penerapan User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) yang terstruktur agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari pengguna dan memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengguna. Pendekatan design thinking digunakan dalam merancang UI/UX aplikasi penjualan karena mempunyai proses yang berkesinambungan untuk dapat menciptakan solusi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Dari perancangan dan solusi yang telah dihasilkan, akan dievaluasi dan validasi menggunakan penilaian dari ketentuan ISO 9241-11 dengan menerapkan pengujian usability System Usability Scale (SUS) dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah didapatkan, dapat diketahui bahwa aplikasi penjualan kain batik yang dirancang mempunyai tingkat usability yang tinggi dan baik dari masing-masing nilai aspek User Experience (UX) Attribute. However, online sales are currently not effective and efficient. A solution is needed to solve the problems experienced by batik fabric sales applications. When designing applications, it is necessary to implement a structured User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) to suit the needs of the user and provide comfort for the user. The design thinking approach is used in designing UI/UX sales applications because it has an irrational process to be able to create solutions that suit user needs. The designs and solutions that have been produced, will be evaluated and validated using an assessment of the provisions of ISO 9241-11 by implementing the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) usability tests. Based on the test results that have been obtained, it can be seen that the designed batik cloth sales application has a high and good level of usability from each aspect of the User Experience (UX) Attribute value.
The methods and media that are used in the teaching and learning process are crucial to its success. With the use of suitable learning resources, teachers and students can overcome barriers to ...learning, enabling students to quickly access and comprehend course material. The survey was conducted in SD Negeri 1 Rogojampi, and the findings revealed that teachers only verbally communicated knowledge to the students while they were learning. With the use of an Android-based Visual Novel Game and the ADDIE method, the researcher hoped to innovate in the development of English learning media. Sixth-grade elementary school students who were randomly selected as respondents during the implementation stage were divided into groups that used learning media and groups that did not. According to the expert validation results, learning media are practicable to use and test on respondents. There were no problems in the learning media during the small group test, allowing it to be continued to the implementation stage or the big group test on research respondents. The respondents are put into two groups for comparison purposes: the group that received learning media and the group that did not. The average comparison value between the groups using learning media and the groups not using learning media differs by 2.9, showing that visual novel learning media is both useful and effective as a learning medium.
Introduction: Myrmecodia pendans, or traditionally known as ant nest fruit, is one of popular traditional medicines in Indonesia with a wide range of effects such as antidiabetic, anticancer, and ...free-radical scavenging agents. Despite of the extensive research, reports regarding its toxicity are scarce. Gentamicin is also one of popular and widely used anti-biotic but it is associated with a wide range of toxicity, especially if administered at high dose. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of Myrmecodia pendans extract in the mice what received toxic dose of gentamicin.Method: 24 male white rats were used and randomly divided into 4 groups: P0 (negative control), P1 (100 mg/kgBW intraperitoneal gentamicin), P2 (gentamicyn + 250 mg/kgBW myrmercodia extract), P3 (250 mg/kgBW myrmercodia extract which administered for 7 days and followed by gentamicin). The treatment was given for 10 days and all mice were sacrificed at the end of the study. The stomach was taken from each mouse and examined pathologically using Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining.Results: The necrosis was found in all groups that received gentamicin (P1-P3) with P2 had the most severe necrosis. Hemorrhage was only found in group that received Myrmecodia extract (P2 and P3) and, again, P2 had higher score of hemorrhage compared to P3.Conclusion: The administration of Myrmecodia extract at 250 mg/kgBW together with toxic dose of gentamicin exacerbate the gastric tissue damage in Wistar rats.

Sistem pengenalan emosi merupakan salah satu contoh pemrosesan citra yang termasuk pada ranah computer vision. Dalam dunia computer vision, penelitian mengenai ekspresi wajah telah dilakukan sebelumnya oleh Chinese Academy of Sciences Micro-Expression (CASME). Pada kasus micro-expressions wajah, penelitian ini fokus pada satu area yaitu lower face yang dijadikan acuan untuk fitur wajah yang digunakan. Untuk lower face area yang dijadikan ROI khusus diwilayah mulut (lower face). Untuk melakukan ROI pada area tersebut, metode yang digunakan algoritma Viola-Jones pada cascade object detector dengan menentukan wilayah khusus yang dicrop atau batasan area berdasarkan fitur lower face yang bisa disebut sebagai deteksi area mulut (mouth detection). Kemudian dilakukan proses ekstraksi menggunakan Local Binary Pattern. Setelah itu hasil dari proses ekstraksi dijadikan acuan untuk menentukan deteksi ekspresi emosi. Nantinya deteksinya akan memanfaatkan ELM sebagai metode klasifikasi yang dijadikan kelas-kelas ekspresi emosi.

Often there is a lack and excess of sugar production which makes the sugar does not have the maximum value, the sugar has been damaged, and sales at a reduced price because the sugar is not as efficient as the initial product. From these various problems, it can reduce profits from the company. From these problems it can be concluded that the company needs a system that can organize the management of the company, and is able to forecast production in the future. In this research will make a forecasting system using the method of Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), where this method is divided into three methods, namely the Autoregressive (AR) method, the Moving Average (MA) method, and the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method, which preceded by checking stationary data, and modeling the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method. Forecasting is done using production data for the previous 12 years from the company. The system is made to facilitate management that is less organized and displays predictions for the next production period. The results of this forecasting system are to determine the amount of production each year needed in this company. From the results of the ARIMA method modeling, the right ARIMA method is obtained by the ARIMA/AR (1,0,0), ARIMA / MA (0,0,1), and ARIMA (1,0,1) methods. The test results found that the average value of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) in the Autoregressive (AR) method was 17%, the Moving Average (MA) method was 19%, and the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method was 15%.
