Abstract
The following chapter aims to investigate the impact on the prices of inferior goods from COVID-19, a global pandemic with a spread never before seen, and in order to stipulate the possible ...consequences, a contrast was made with past world crises in order to speculate the state in which the country and its citizens would be economically benefited. The chapter has been based on articles previously carried out by specialists, said essays, likewise, that have been contrasted by different authors; therefore, it could be stipulated that the methodology used throughout the trial was the one applied, since it was based on prior knowledge from great scholars on the subject. The results found indicate that, even though the country is in an uncertain outlook, the possibilities of economic recovery are high since previous economic crises denote large drops in money fluctuation with a high rate of recovery.
Las perspectivas de crecimiento de la economía mundial no son positivas y se han mantenido bajas en los últimos meses. Esto ha generado una creciente incertidumbre entre los consumidores, ...inversionistas y gobiernos, y se ha traducido en un menor grado de consumo e inversión, entre otras consecuencias. El objetivo del presente artículo es determinar la influencia de una posible e inminente recesión en el precio de los metales, en un entorno globalizado. La metodología consistió en una recopilación de datos provenientes de fuentes secundarias. El principal hallazgo es que aunque los gobiernos han aplicado múltiples medidas para estimular la economía en tiempos de recesión, la inflación, la depreciación del euro, la apreciación del dólar, la menor demanda de metales y los aranceles, entre otros sucesos fortuitos, han repercutido negativamente en el precio de los metales.
Abstract
The tension between the United States and China has not ended, despite the lengthy negotiations carried out in 2019 to appease differences and decrease protectionism over the technology ...industry, since the trade war was producing devastating consequences for both powers and international trade. The resurgence of tension is due to two main factors, such as mutual accusations about who is to blame for the origin of COVID-19 and the use of the new 5G mobile technology by Chinese companies like ZTE and Huawei. We developed an in-depth analysis of the consequences on international prices of the technology industry and international trade due to the reappearance of the trade conflict between China and the United States. This analysis will be carried out through the application of economic theories. There is greater distrust in the technology sector, and this produces a variation in the price of the technology industry. Likewise, according to Marshall's law of demand and supply, this effect can be explained more accurately; since there was a lower demand for technological products, the digital industry will have to lower its prices to generate income.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were proposed in 2015 to promote worldwide improvements in human wellbeing. Governments have different levels of commitment to the SDGs, reflected in the SDG ...index, which shows the compliance of each country, detailing each score by SDG. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor reports show the advances of global entrepreneurship in various countries, while the Global Competitiveness Report shows their competitiveness. This analysis was based on environmental, social, and economic outcomes of SDGs from the SDG index 2018. We also evaluated data from the Global Competitiveness Report 2018 and the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report 2018. A partial least-squares structural-equation-modeling technical analysis was used. It was found that social SDGs (0.796) and environmental SDGs (0.196) had a positive influence on economic SDGs; also, economic SDGs had a positive influence on the continuation of entrepreneurship (0.590) and competitiveness (0.918). The model explained 34.8% of the continuation of entrepreneurship and 84.3% of that of competitiveness. The outcomes of the bootstrapping test were used to evaluate whether the path coefficients were significant. This information can help governments and organizations to recognize the impact of support and promote compliance with SDGs and the continuation of entrepreneurship and competitiveness. Moreover, this information provides the means to analyze the influence of open innovation in accomplishing the SDGs faster. The study’s novelty is the use of the PLS-SEM technique to analyze these worldwide indicators.

This study examines research and case studies about H&T entrepreneurship and provides new insights into the current industry about all aspects that affect entrepreneurship development. Additionally, the impacts of the spread of COVID-19 in the current industry and the changes in the awareness of tourists to enjoy more sustainable tourism that protects the planet during their daily operations are addressed; this being a new opportunity for business so that entrepreneurs can compete in a hypercompetitive market.

Food insecurity in the Latin American region has become a complex problem that significantly impacts people's physical and mental well-being. The factors causing food insecurity are varied, ...ranging from social, political, and economic causes. Ensuring access to food is not a task with limited responsibilities; on the contrary, both public and private institutions must contribute to creating sustainable and innovative solutions. In general, it is necessary to ensure that the food system flows correctly, ensuring the availability of balanced and nutritious food for the diet of the inhabitants of a given nation. Alternative solutions apart from the government's help include sustainable cultivation, finger millet, and close cooperation with the farmers from the agriculture sector. The present research aims to consolidate theoretical information on the Latin American situation and seek the leading solutions of the parties involved.

The Travel and Tourism sector is continuously changing over the years. Indeed, a wide range of interests has been evidenced worldwide. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, tourists ...have experienced a drastic change in their expectations and necessities, demanding new kinds of services added value, among other variables. Uncertainty and COVID-conscious tourists remain evidenced after postpandemic recovery. Moreover, domestic, eco and digital tourism grow exponentially due to the current trends. The public and private sectors must understand the tourists' patterns and adapt their strategies to help the sector recover. Thus, by working together, tourism, despite being affected by COVID-19, regained its strength and continues to grow, inviting local and international tourists to travel to different destinations, adding the adaptation of those who offer services in this industry to meet the expectations of new trends and consumer behaviors.
