The landscape features of traditional villages displayed in the Huizhou District were formed in a specific environment gradually. It was the result of the comprehensive effects of natural, ...historical, social, and cultural factors. This study took Qizili Village as an example and sorted out the composition and current situation of its natural landscape and human landscape. To refine the proper composition model of Qizili Village, we analyzed the landscape features from the perspectives of the natural environment, layout planning, traditional architecture, environmental elements, and traditional culture. Finally, we concluded the landscape connotation of Qizili Village.
The ancient road cultural route is an important part of Huizhou cultural heritage, which is closely related to Huizhou tradition. Huizhou ancient villages are important historical and cultural ...heritage. The important features of their locations and layouts are the high integration with nature, forming a traditional residential environment pattern of “backing mountain, surrounding water and facing screen”. From the perspective of Huizhou Ancient Road, this paper selects Chengkan ancient village, which is an important cultural route of “Shuyuan Lingshan Chengkan ancient road”, as the research object, and takes the construction of human settlements as the main research content. From the natural environment and cultural background, and the formed human environment as the starting point, the paper focuses on the village agglomeration spatial pattern, the village water system, the street space environment, the architectural environment and the Shuikou landscape environment to analyze the characteristics and concepts of traditional residential environment construction in Huizhou ancient villages represented by Chengkan village, so as to make a beneficial discussion on the regional rural revitalization, the protection and development of traditional village human settlement environment.
This article uses the design analysis and insights of the Weiping Tourism Cultural Street, which the author participated in and practice to discuss how Huizhou culture can be protected and inherited ...in tourism cultural projects. Through the planning of the buildings of the project and the site planning of the surrounding environment, the formation of public spaces such as traditional streets, traditional theaters, as well as the influence of Huizhou culture on the space and architectural style and details of the building, the article interprets in detail the application of Huizhou architectural design and its traditional cultural connotations in cultural tourism development projects. At the same time, the article also discusses and summarizes the problems encountered in the protection and inheritance of Huizhou culture in the design and development process of the project, which has an enlightening effect on the better integration of the current practice of new Huizhou architecture with the current social and economic environment.
The acceleration of the modernization process has promoted the improvement of rural residential construction technology and efficiency, but the rural buildings have not inherited and developed the ...regional traditional characteristics on this basis, instead, there has been a blind trend of urban architectural styles in different regions, resulting in a phenomenon of the homogenization of development. The design of qianmota post station uses the typological analysis method to excavate and inherit the characteristics of the local traditional buildings in Mingyue village, then combines the characteristics with new technologies and materials to restore the local architecture in the hearts of the villagers in Mingyue village. It is restored in two aspects: the architectural appearance of the traditional houses in Western Sichuan and the spiritual symbol of the church.
Surface ozone (O3) is a major air pollutant around the world. This study investigated O3 concentrations in nine cities during the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) lockdown phases. A statistical ...model, named Generalized Additive Model (GAM), was also developed to assess different meteorological factors, estimate daily O3 release during COVID-19 lockdown and determine the relationship between the two. We found that: (1) Daily O3 significantly increased in all selected cities during the COVID-19 lockdown, presenting relative increases from −5.7% (in São Paulo) to 58.9% (in Guangzhou), with respect to the average value for the same period in the previous five years. (2) In the GAM model, the adjusted coefficient of determination (R2) ranged from 0.48 (Sao Paulo) to 0.84 (Rome), and it captured 51–85% of daily O3 variations. (3) Analyzing the expected O3 concentrations during the lockdown, using GAM fed by meteorological data, showed that O3 anomalies were dominantly controlled by meteorology. (4) The relevance of different meteorological variables depended on the cities. The positive O3 anomalies in Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Delhi were mostly associated with low relative humidity and elevated maximum temperature. Low wind speed, elevated maximum temperature, and low relative humidity were the leading meteorological factors for O3 anomalies in London, Paris, and Rome. The two other cities had different leading factor combinations.
