The paper article describes the operating experience of a plant employing state-of-the-art production technology with an MOK-1-592 (TKOM no. 3) indurating machine started up in 2015 at PAO ...Mikhailovsky GOK. The technical and process solutions implemented in the design of a greenfield production complex is discussed, including a state-of-the-art automated process control system ensuring seamless operation of the equipment in the automated mode and improvement of the product quality. The innovative approach to the performance of the traveling-grate indurating machine and the equipment, which is a part of the heatflow diagram (thermal circuit) of the machine, is based on numerical simulation research of heat and weight transfer in an iron-ore pellet bed. Successful execution of the TKOM no. 3 project is a result of the researchbased and scientifically proven selection of control methods for the pellet production process, the use the state-of-the-industry algorithms for control over the operation modes of the entire production line.

Abstract
The development of modern IT tools is a key vector of development in the management of natural hazards and geosciences. Thanks to the creation and implementation of geographic information ...systems (GIS) and technologies, monitoring of the area is greatly facilitated and the accounting of natural resources becomes streamlined. Geoinformation systems allow to take into account the social and environmental situation, accurately determining the qualitative and quantitative characteristics, structure, and location of objects. This allows the authorities at different levels to develop social infrastructure most effectively and correctly locate objects of it. In addition, geographic information systems are very effective for determining the location of an object. The requested information is provided in the form of detailed maps with additional details in texts, graphs, and diagrams. GIS tools are not a single program, but a package of programs, they have different interfaces and capabilities of working with data. Usually, the one that is best suited for the task is selected from this software package. An example of the choice of effective tools and related research in work with BigGeoData are presented in the article about aero monitoring use case.
Heat transfer in the contact zone of a rail and thermocouple chromel electrode was investigated. The diameter of the contact spot and angle of sharpening the electrode for reducing the measurement ...error with consideration of the initial temperature of the thermocouple electrode were found.

, as well as iron are found. Gypsum in the waste is a newly formed phase, undetected in the initial ore, revealed in sulphide and mixed ore tailings and is absent in oxidized ore tailings. The key valuable component is gold represented by fine accretions in arsenopyrite, free gold size is not more than a few first microns.
In the development of conveyer roasting machines, heat and mass transfer in the bed must be simulated. In the present work, the results of calculations based on a thermal model of conveyer roasting ...machines developed at OOO NPVP TOREKS are presented for the MOK-1-592 system at PAO Mikhailovskii GOK. The thermal operation of the working zones in the pellet-roasting machine may be improved by taking account of the most significant factors affecting the physicochemical processes in those zones.
The international AKTIV register presents a detailed description of out- and inpatients with COVID-19 in the Eurasian region. It was found that hospitalized patients had more comorbidities. In ...addition, these patients were older and there were more men than among outpatients. Among the traditional risk factors, obesity and hypertension had a significant negative effect on prognosis, which was more significant for patients 60 years of age and older. Among comorbidities, CVDs had the maximum negative effect on prognosis, and this effect was more significant for patients 60 years of age and older. Among other comorbidities, type 2 and 1 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancer and anemia had a negative impact on the prognosis. This effect was also more significant (with the exception of type 1 diabetes) for patients 60 years and older. The death risk in patients with COVID-19 depended on the severity and type of multimorbidity. Clusters of diseases typical for deceased patients were identified and their impact on prognosis was determined. The most unfavorable was a cluster of 4 diseases, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and diabetes mellitus. The data obtained should be taken into account when planning measures for prevention (vaccination priority groups), treatment and rehabilitation of COVID-19 survivors.
The results of the experiment on the measurement of the e+e− → π+π− cross section in a cm energy range of 370–520 MeV are presented. The systematic measurement error is equal to 0.7%. In the vector ...dominance model, the pion electromagnetic radius is calculated using all the CMD-2 data on the pion form factor. The cross section for the production of a muon pair is measured in the energy range of the experiment.
The distribution of rare-earth elements in surface and underground waters, water-bearing rocks, and secondary mineral neoformations of thermal waters of the Paratunka and Vilyuchinsk hydrothermal ...systems of Kamchatka has been studied. It is revealed that their content, distribution, and fractionation differ with respect to the geochemical type of water and the pH–Eh of the aquifer. All waters are characterized by the domination of the transportation of dissolved rare earth elements, which exceeds their transportation with colloids by 1000 times. It has been shown that neoformations of carbonates, sulfates, and silicates, including calcite, gypsum, and amorphous opal, are widespread in the discharge areas of the studied thermal waters. The redistribution intensity of rare earth elements in the rock–water–secondary deposits system is very low in waters of the sulfate type, where the elements are bonded to sulfates. At the same time, the precipitation of rare earth elements as newly formed mineral phases is most intensive in water with carbonate complexes.
An innovative production technology for iron-ore pellets on a new generation of roasting machines is considered. The MOK-1-592M roasting machine is the basic component in the TKOM-3 pellet-production ...system, which went into operation at PAO Mikhailovskii GOK in 2015. The characteristics of the following products are presented: fluxed pellets of basicity 0.5; pellets based on superenriched concentrate with high iron content and low silicon-dioxide content for direct reduction; and pellets consisting of a mixture of hematite and magnetite. The production of such pellets is discussed, and the possibility of improving pellet quality at roasting machine 3 is analyzed.

collider VEPP-2000 is given. Focus is made on the processes with charged kaons ...in multihadron events, which have a strong impact on strange meson spectroscopy and form factors that are important ingredients in the Dalitz plot analysis. Experimental data relevant to the topic are presented from the broad energy range covered by VEPP-2000 and compared to earlier measurements by the different collaborations. The analysis is based on the integrated luminosity of about 100 pb
