Applications of the microwaves technologies are developing fast, but only in few cases these applications are used at the industrial level for the pollutants elimination. This work presents few ...problems of the environment that can be efficiently solved through electrotechnologies based on microwaves: wastages treatment technologies, coal filters regeneration, concrete walls treatment and of the contaminated soils, vermin elimination from the wood structures, the elimination of toxic acids of nitrogen and sulfur from the burning gases and indirectly, the preparation of polyelectrolytes for the used waters treatment.
This work is based on examples that emphasize the complexity of the proteins ultrafiltration process, pointing out the first 10-15 minutes of ultrafiltration. The knowledgement of the factors that ...influence the separation through ultrafiltration of proteins will allow to choose the right type of membrane, the frequent use of the same membrane and the operation in mechanical and chemical conditions adequate to the ultrafiltration system, when it is separated a protein with certain molecular weight.
This comprehensive scientific review provides an in-depth analysis of both the natural compounds, pyrethrins, and their synthetic derivatives, pyrethroids, focusing on their classification, ...biosynthesis, mechanism of action, general and pharmaceutical uses, as well as their toxicity and environmental impact. Pyrethrins, derived from certain plant species, have long been recognized for their potent insecticidal properties. The review begins by examining the classification of pyrethrins and pyrethroids, elucidating their structural characteristics and unique features within the field of natural and synthetic compounds. The biosynthetic pathways responsible for producing pyrethrins in plants are discussed, highlighting the enzymatic reactions and genetic regulation involved. In addition, the synthesis of pyrethroid derivatives is explored, including both natural and synthetic sources and potential optimization strategies. Understanding the mechanisms of action by which pyrethrins and pyrethroids exert their insecticidal effects is a crucial aspect of this review. Complex interactions with the nervous systems of target organisms are examined, providing insights into their selective toxicity and modes of action. In addition, the various applications of these compounds are explored, from their use in agriculture for pest control to their incorporation into household insecticides and potential pharmaceutical applications. The review also critically evaluates the potential toxicity of pyrethrins and pyrethroids to human health. By consolidating current knowledge and research findings, this review provides a comprehensive understanding of the properties and applications of pyrethrins and pyrethroids, highlighting their benefits and risks, and the importance of responsible and sustainable use in various areas.
The gluten determination method is based by principle to transform analyzed flour in dough. The dough will be washed, in special conditions, with water or with some solution. Obtained results were ...influenced by special condition and also by solution used for washing. For choosing the suitable method it is necessary to considerate the maximum dough consistation (gluten is fully developed); using one saline water solution (2%) for washing gluten will anulate the influence of different mineral composition for drinking water; the dough report before washing must not be prolonged to reduce proteolytic activity at minimum.
On the present territory of Romania, the wheat had been cultivated from the old times. There were found vestiges that were estimated to have 7000 year. The local sorts had been cultivated until 1925, ...when the experiments with new sorts showed their inferiority as concerns their resistence to fall, to precocity, the disease resistance, productivity and even quality. The experiment purpose was to determine the genotypes production genetic potential and the production stability.
Raising animals at the household level occupies an important place in the rural economy, providing families with a relatively constant income and a source of food. The demand for organic products of ...animal origin, the prohibition or limitation use of medicinal substances for various treatments and and the search for alternatives to feed additives, are the key factors that determine the pursuit for natural solutions to increase milk production. Herbal spices can influence the way animals are fed and ultimately have the beneficial effect of stimulating the level of secretory tissue of the mammary gland, which would result in an improvement in milk production. The paper aims to contribute to the review of various studies on galactogenic plants with effect on milk production. The study considered the follow-up of research published in the last few years. Galactogenic plants have triggered a special interest because of their availability, low cost and no toxic residues left in milk. Phyto-pharmacological research on medicinal plants can contribute to the discovery of some new ways of using galactogenic plants in the diet of dairy animals. Following the bibliographic study carried out in the paper, it was established that there are several milk-producing species that can be fed galactogenic effect plants (cows, goats, sheep, buffaloes) and there are a series of medicinal plants more common in making feed mixtures in order to stimulate the growth of milk production (Asparagus racemosus, Trigonella foenum-graecum, Cuminum cyminum, Carum carvi, Nigella sativa). Researches about natural alternatives to increase milk production in dairy animals is still limited. It is necessary to carry out further studies about plants with a galactogenic effect on the physiology of milk production in livestock species.
Animal raw material processing is directly influenced by the physical and chemical characteristics of their. The various combinations and status of the raw materials used in the food industry ...determine specific behaviours that may influence the processing equipment performance and construction. The study on meat composition viscosity depending upon the added components, temperature and mixing time length, has shown that viscosity is increasing with lower mixing temperature , higher mixing time length and higher added starch percentage.

Vegetables are food of vegetable origin which has an important place in human nutrition because of their complex chemical composition. With the discovery of causes that cause alteration of food (the ...vital action of microorganisms), the problem of food conservation began to be substantiated in terms scientific, in that way that the present conservation means not only to avoid microbial spoilage of food, but also keeping most of the nutritional and organoleptic properties of the product under conservation. The paper is structured in six chapters that have followed all the stages of pea to preserve the finished product-peas canned, and changes occurring in the process of preservation by analyzing four different kinds of peas. In this paper work is has been showed fat content determination, determination of sodium chloride and microbiological control of canned peas.
The quality of meat preparations, in terms of binding compositions, is directly influenced by the degree of extractibility of structural proteins, which in turn is influenced by a number of factors ...such as quality of raw and auxiliary materials, how various operations are conducted the technological process, type of equipment used, etc. This paper aims to follow how the degree of extractability of sarcoplasmic and myofibril proteins it is influenced by chopping and the type raw material. From experiments it was found that the degree of extraction of proteins increases with increasing chopping to a time when extracting a slight regression. For the same chopping stroke by degree of extraction is higher for samples obtained from pork and the evidence obtained by adding water cooled.
Milk proteins have been extensively studied for over 90 years. Proteomics and associated technologies have the potential to facilitate an advanced knowledge of the proteins in milk. Proteomics allows ...detection, identification and characterization of milk proteins. In the present paper a study of milk proteins, using different analytical techniques - methods of dosing photometric and chromatographic analysis. With these techniques we want to reveal differences that occur at the protein level, between different animal species. As biological material was examined 4 different types of milk used for human consumption – cow’s milk, buffalo, sheep goats respectively.
