This article introduces the ecological service function value loss accounting and ecological value loss accounting methods from the perspective of value, and puts forward the system introduction method, technology introduction method and compensation method introduction method of ecological compensation, combining the environmental impact assessment system and ecological compensation mechanism in order to improve the feasibility and operability of ecological compensation.
The widely used hole-transporting host 4,4′,4″-tris(N-carbazolyl)-triphenylamine (TCTA) blended with either a hole-transporting or an electron-transporting small-molecule material as a mixed-host ...was investigated in the phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) fabricated by the low-cost solution-process. The performance of the solution-processed OLEDs was found to be very sensitive to the composition of the mixed-host systems. The incorporation of the hole-transporting 1,1-bis(di-4-tolylamino)phenylcyclohexane (TAPC) into TCTA as the mixed-host was demonstrated to greatly reduce the driving voltage and thus enhance the efficiency due to the improvement of hole injection and transport. On the basis of the mixed-host of TCTA:TAPC, we successfully fabricated low driving voltage and high efficiency blue and white phosphorescent OLEDs. A maximum forward viewing current efficiency of 32.0 cd/A and power efficiency of 25.9 lm/W were obtained in the optimized mixed-host blue OLED, which remained at 29.6 cd/A and 19.1 lm/W at the luminance of 1000 cd/m2 with a driving voltage as low as 4.9 V. The maximum efficiencies of 37.1 cd/A and 32.1 lm/W were achieved in a single emissive layer white OLED based on the TCTA:TAPC mixed-host. Even at 1000 cd/m2, the efficiencies still reach 34.2 cd/A and 23.3 lm/W and the driving voltage is only 4.6 V, which is comparable to those reported from the state-of-the-art vacuum-evaporation deposited white OLEDs.
Purpose The aim of the present study was to assess the efficacy and safety of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with atezolizumab and bevacizumab (hereafter, TACE-Atez/Bev) in the ...treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Materials and methods Clinical information was collected from consecutive patients with advanced HCC who received treatment with TACE-Atez/Bev or Atez/Bev from April 2021 and October 2022. Treatment response, overall survival (OS), and progression-free survival (PFS) were the primary outcomes of this study. Adverse events (AEs) were the secondary outcomes. Propensity score matching (PSM) analysis was applied to reduce bias between two groups. Results This study included 62 patients in the TACE-Atez/Bev group and 77 patients in the Atez/Bev group. The objective response rate (ORR) of the TACE-Atez/Bev group and the Atez/Bev group were 38.7% and 16.9% (P=0.004). However, there was no statistical difference in disease control rate between the two groups (69.4% vs 63.6%, P=0.479). Before PSM, the median OS was 14 months in the TACE-Atez/Bev group and 10 months in the Atez/Bev group (P=0.014). The median PFS in the TACE-Atez/Bev and Atez/Bev groups was 10 months and 6 months, respectively (P=0.001). After PSM, the median OS in the two groups was 14 months and 9 months, respectively (P=0.01). The median PFS was 7 months and 6 months, respectively (P=0.036). Multivariable analysis showed that treatment method was independent prognostic factors affecting OS. Conclusions Compared with Atez/Bev treatment, TACE-Atez/Bev showed better OS, PFS, and ORR for Chinese patients with advanced HCC, with an acceptable safety profile. From the macroscopic point of view, the hydrophilicity of symbiotic carbon pyrite is weakened overall compared to that of pure pyrite. It is very important to explain the impact of elemental carbon ...accreted on a pyrite surface on the surface's hydrophobicity from the perspective of quantum chemistry. To study the influence of adsorbed carbon atoms on the hydrophilicity of a coal pyrite surface versus a pyrite surface, the adsorption of a single water molecule at an adjacent Fe site of a one-carbon-atom-covered pyrite surface and a carbon atom monolayer were simulated and calculated with the first-principles method of density functional theory (DFT). The water molecules can be stably adsorbed at the adjacent Fe site of the carbon-atom-covered pyrite surface. The hybridization of the O 2p (H2O) and Fe 3d (pyrite surface) orbitals was the main interaction between the water molecule and the pyrite surface, forming a strong Fe-O covalent bond. The water molecule only slightly adsorbs above a C atom on the carbon-atom-covered pyrite and the carbon atom monolayer surfaces. The valence bond between the water molecule and the pyrite surface changed from an Fe-O bond to an Fe-C-O bond, in which the C-O bond is very weak, resulting in a weaker interaction between water and the surface.
Background Cumulative evidences have been implicated cancer stem cells in the tumor environment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells, whereas the biological functions and prognostic significance ...of stemness related genes (SRGs) in HCC is still unclear. Methods Molecular subtypes were identified by cumulative distribution function (CDF) clustering on 207 prognostic SRGs. The overall survival (OS) predictive gene signature was developed, internally and externally validated based on HCC datasets including The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), GEO and ICGC datasets. Hub genes were identified in molecular subtypes by protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analysis, and then enrolled for determination of prognostic genes. Univariate, LASSO and multivariate Cox regression analyses were performed to assess prognostic genes and construct the prognostic gene signature. Time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, Kaplan-Meier curve and nomogram were used to assess the performance of the gene signature. Results We identified four molecular subtypes, among which the C2 subtype showed the highest SRGs expression levels and proportions of immune cells, whereas the worst OS; the C1 subtype showed the lowest SRGs expression levels and was associated with most favorable OS. Next, we identified 11 prognostic genes (CDX2, PON1, ADH4, RBP2, LCAT, GAL, LPA, CYP19A1, GAST, SST and UGT1A8) and then constructed a prognostic 11-gene module and validated its robustness in all three datasets. Moreover, by univariate and multivariate Cox regression, we confirmed the independent prognostic ability of the 11-gene module for patients with HCC. In addition, calibration analysis plots indicated the excellent predictive performance of the prognostic nomogram constructed based on the 11-gene signature. Conclusions Findings in the present study shed new light on the role of stemness related genes within HCC, and the established 11-SRG signature can be utilized as a novel prognostic marker for survival prognostication in patients with HCC. ABSTRACT
We consider the Compton scattering in the optically thick uniform spherical corona around a neutron star in an X-ray binary. In the scattering, the low energy seed photons (0.1 ∼ 2.5 keV) ...are scattered in low energy electrons (2.5 ∼ 10 keV) in the corona in two conditions, i.e. initial seed photons are scattered in a whole corona and scattered in every layer of the corona that are supposed to be divided into many layers. When the same number of input seed photons, the same corona parameters, and the same energy distribution of all photons in the two conditions are considered, the approximately same number of output photons can be obtained, which means that there is approximately a transform invariance of layering the Comptonized corona. Thus the scattering in the layers of a multilayered corona is approximately equal to the scattering in the whole corona by dividing the whole corona into several layers. It means that Compton scattering for the initial seed photons scattered in a whole optically thick spherical corona with uniformly distributed electrons also can be considered as that the multiple Compton scatterings take place in the layers of a multilayered corona in order approximately, which can be used to explore some physical process in one part of a corona.
We propose a novel intermediate connector for fluorescence/phosphorescence hybrid tandem white organic light emitting diodes (WOLEDs). The core of our concept is to insert a thin layer of calcium ...(Ca) between lithium 8-hydroxyquinolinolate (Liq) and 1,4,5,8,9,11-hexaazatriphenylene hexacarbonitrile (HAT-CN) to construct the intermediate connector. The resultant hybrid tandem WOLEDs exhibit very high device performance. For the color-complementary devices, the maximum current efficiency (CE), power efficiency (PE) and external quantum efficiency (EQE) reach 106.3 cd A −1 , 51.4 lm W −1 and 39.6%, respectively, without any out-coupling techniques. At the luminance intensity of 1000 cd m −2 , the efficiencies can still be maintained at 102.8 cd A −1 , 46.9 lm W −1 and 38.8%. We also obtain a color rendering index (CRI) as high as 93 in a three-primary-color device. Moreover, both the complementary and three-primary-color devices possess excellent stability for the luminance increased from 1000 cd m −2 to 10 000 cd m −2 .

mm for further research, a Falcon concentrator was used to recover the metal from the waste PCB. Engineering considerations were the liberation degree, the distribution ratio of the metal and a way to simplify the technology. The separation mechanism for fine particles of different densities in a Falcon concentrator was analyzed in detail and the separation process in the segregation and separation zones was deduced. Also, the magnitude of centrifugal acceleration, the back flow water pressure and the feed slurry concentration, any of which might affect separation results, were studied. A recovery model was established using Design-Expert software. Separating waste PCB, crushed to −1
mm, with the Falcon separator gave a concentrated product graded 92.36% metal with a recovery of 97.05%. To do this the reverse water pressure was 0.05
MPa, the speed transducer frequency was set at 30
Hz and the feed density was 20
g/l. A flow diagram illustrating the new technique of wet impact crushing followed by separation with a Falcon concentrator is provided. The technique will prevent environmental pollution from waste PCB and allow the effective recovery of resources. Water was used as the medium throughout the whole process.
Air pollution has brought about serious challenges to public health. With the limitations of available data, previous studies overlooked spatiotemporal heterogeneities in PM2.5-related health ...(PM2.5-RH) and multiple associated factors at the subdistrict scale. In this research, social media Weibo data was employed to extract PM2.5-RH based on the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) model, in Beijing, China. Then, the relationship between PM2.5-RH and eight associated factors was qualified based on multi-source geospatial big data using Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) models. The results indicate that the PM2.5-RH in the study area showed a spatial pattern of agglomeration to the city center and seasonal variation in the spatially non-stationary effects. The impacts of varied factors on PM2.5-RH were also spatiotemporally heterogeneous. Specifically, nighttime light (NTL), population density (PD) and the normalized difference built-up index (NDBI) had outstanding effects on PM2.5-RH in the four seasons, but with spatial disparities. The impact of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) on PM2.5-RH was significant in summer, especially in the central urban areas, while in winter, the contribution of the air quality index (AQI) was increased. This research further demonstrates the feasibility of using social media data to indicate the effect of air pollution on public health and provides new insights into the seasonal impacts of associated driving factors on the health effects of air pollution.
