La2/3Ca1/3MnO3_mol%Ag x (LCMO:Ag x ) ceramics with x =0, 0.2 and 0.4 were prepared by chemical coprecipitation. The TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) is increased significantly with Ag ...addition. Large TCR is observed around T MI (metal-insulator transition temperature) with the highest value of 28%/K at 271.3K for LCMO:Ag x (x =0.4) sample, which can be used as a candidate of bolometer or infrared detector around room temperature. Furthermore, the increased magneto-resistance (MR) of 79% is seen at 276K for higher silver added samples in an applied field of 5T. Ag substitution A site ion and gathering at grain boundaries (GBs) were proposed to describe the existence of Ag. All of evidences suggest that the electrical and magnetic properties enhancement is due to silver-doping improving Mn4+ concentration, grain size and connectivity.
To establish and evaluate a rat model of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) associated with depression for further elaborating the disease.
Twenty-four Wistar rats were randomly divided into three ...groups: normal group (group N), T2DM group (group T) and T2DM with depression group (group T + D), with 8 rats in each group. The T2DM rat model was induced by high fat diet and low dose of Streptozotocin (STZ) injection, and in addition, the T2DM rats were made restraint stress for 21 days. After the model was established, the insulin tolerance test (ITT) and oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) were performed. Then the rat depression level was analyzed by open field test, and the concentration of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and dopamine (DA)was determined by ELISA to confirm the model identity.
The blood glucose level in group T and group T + D didn't return to the normal level at 180 minutes in the ITT and OGTT test; Compared with the group N, the max movement distance, retaining time in the central zone and the retain
This study concentrated on hot-fire tests to demonstrate the flow characteristics that influenced by the throttle of the secondary stream in the rocket-ejector system. The experiment was conducted ...under the sea level static (SLS) condition. A small rocket used gaseous oxygen / liquid kerosene propellant as a primary stream supply system, and the high-pressure air bottles were employed as the secondary stream supply system. The equivalence ratio of the rocket, the air mass flow rate and the mixing length were varied to study the performance. The results show that there is a mass flow rate mismatch between the air flow entering through the inlet and the mass flow permitted due to aerodynamic choking. If the air mass flow rate through the throat is more, the inlet may unstart. If the air mass flow rate through the throat is less, the total pressure loss of the air due to the pseudo-shock would be caused under the effect of the suction performance. The unsuitable air mass flow rate is detrimental to RBCC engine operation in the ejector mode. With the increasing equivalence ratio of the rocket, the pressurization performance is improved accordingly, but the suction performance is obviously decreased. When the equivalence ratio is more than 1.1, the reacting shear layer would affect the suction performance.
Pertussis cases have increased markedly since 2018 in Guangxi. The aim of this study was to evaluate antibody levels and the infection status of pertussis in the resident population.
A total of ...10,215 serum samples from residents were collected from August–November 2018 and tested for anti-pertussis IgG and toxin IgG using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
Of the collected samples, 1,833 (17.94%) tested positive for anti-pertussis IgG, with the median concentration of 16.06 IU/mL. Antibody level < 10 IU/mL accounted for more than 60% in children under 4 years of age, but declined with age, whereas the percentages of the other three levels (10–40, 40–50, and ≥ 50 IU/mL) increased almost with age (P < 0.001). Moreover, 7,924 samples were selected for anti-pertussis toxin IgG, of which 653 (8.24%) tested positive (≥ 40 IU/mL) with the median concentration of 5.89 IU/mL, and 204 participants (2.56%) had recent pertussis infection (≥ 100 IU/mL). Among the different age groups, the highest rates of positivity and recent infection were observed at 11–20 years of age, the lowest positivity rate at 5 years of age, and the lowest recent infection rate at 4 years of age (P < 0.001, P = 0.005, respectively).
The survey results showed that all age groups in Guangxi lacked immunity against pertussis, which was one of the main factors contributing to the resurgence of pertussis in 2018. In addition, the prevalence of pertussis is relatively high in Guangxi, and its incidence is seriously underestimated, especially in adolescents and adults.

Background: Multi-modality treatment provides modest survival benefits for locally advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Preoperative immunotherapy has continuously ...been shown to be promising in treating resectable NSCLC. The current study aimed to investigate the activity and safety of the PD-1 inhibitor, toripalimab, with chemotherapy given as neoadjuvant treatment for resectable stage III NSCLC in Asian population. Methods: Eligible patients recruited were aged 18 years or older with histologically confirmed AJCC-defined stage IIIA or T3-4N2 IIIB NSCLC who deemed surgically resectable. Patients received 3 cycles of neoadjuvant treatment with intravenous toripalimab (240 mg), carboplatin (area under curve 5), and pemetrexed (500 mg/m
2
for adenocarcinoma) or nab-paclitaxel (260 mg/m
2
for others) on day 1 of each 21-day cycle. Surgical resection was performed 4-5 weeks following the first day of the last cycle of treatment. The primary endpoint was major pathological response (MPR; ≤10% viable tumor cells). Secondary endpoints included pathological complete response (pCR), R0 resection rate, disease-free survival and safety. Paired primary tumor +/- lymph node and blood samples at baseline and surgery were obtained for exploratory study. This study is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT04304248. Results: Between August 2019 and July 2020, 33 patients (median age: 61, IQR: 56-66; female: 6, 18.2%) were enrolled and received neoadjuvant treatment. 18 (54.5%) patients had squamous cell lung cancer, and 13 (39.4%) had T3-4N2 stage IIIB disease. Two patients refused surgery and one had progressive disease after treatment. 30 (91.9%) patients underwent resection (median interval between neoadjuvant treatment and surgery: 36.5 days, IQR 30-42.5) and all except one achieved R0 resection (29/30, 96.7%). 20 patients (20/30, 66.7%) had an MPR, including 15 patients (15/30, 50.0%) had a pCR in the per-protocol population. Surgical complications included three arrhythmias, one prolonged air leak, and one chylothorax. 24 patients (80.0%) had pathological downstaging following treatment, and complete lymph node clearances (ypN0) were seen in 70.0% (21/30) of patients. The most common grade 3-4 treatment-related adverse events in the intention-to-treat population were anemia (2, 6.0%). Severe treatment-related adverse event included one (3.0%) patient with grade 3 peripheral neuropathy (Guillain-Barré syndrome) and resulted in surgery cancellation. At the time of data cutoff (Feb 7, 2021), the median duration of follow-up was 4.13 months, and there were no treatment-related deaths. Conclusions: Toripalimab plus platinum-based doublet yields a high MPR rate, manageable treatment-related toxicity, and feasible surgical resection in resectable stage III NSCLC. Ongoing analysis of biomarker will be available at the meeting. Clinical trial information: NCT04304248.
Elucidating the quality markers(Q-markers) of traditional Chinese medicines is essential for understanding the mechanisms of action and promoting the rational use of traditional Chinese medicines as ...well as for developing traditional Chinese medicine-derived drugs. Studies have shown that surface plasmon resonance(SPR) is promising in this field. This study proposed a method based on pull-down with SPR chips to predict the Q-markers of Angong Niuhuang pills(AGNHP). Firstly, 71 main chemical components of AGNHP were analyzed by UPLC-Q-TOF-MS, and then network pharmacology was employed to predict the potential targets of AGNHP against stroke. Secondly, the STAT3 protein chip was constructed, and the extract of AGNHP was recovered by pull-down of the SPR system for STAT3 ligand. The potential active ingredients were collected, enriched, and identified as coptisine, palmatine, epiberberine, berberine, worenine, demethyleneberberine, jatrorrhizine, tetrahydrocoptisine, baicalein, and baicalin methyl ester. The title complex crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c as an isolated tetranuclear structure. The strong pi···pi stacking, hydrogen bonding and van de Waals attractions produce 3D supramolecular structure. A series of properties of the title complex were tested by solid-state photoluminescence, CIE analysis and solid-state diffuse reflectance. The results show that the title complex is blue light emitter, CIE (0.2172, 0.5581) and has an energy bandwidth of 2.33 eV.
