O presente artigo pretende demonstrar a importância da mediação como derivação ativa das curadorias em exposições de arte, destacando-se os conceitos associados às ações desta natureza, desenvolvidas ...pela Divisão de Artes Plásticas da Casa de Cultura da Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Escolhemos a exposição "Empresta-me um de seus dias", do edital "Arte Londrina"', e dela o trabalho ''Espaço para gerar espaço'', do artista Gabriel Bonfim, para as conexões entre trabalho de arte e mediação. Empatia, escuta e performatividade são conceitos que norteiam as questões aqui propostas.
The use of water of high electrical conductivity has become common in hydroponic systems, especially in regions with water scarcity. However, the use of inferior-quality water can affect crop yields. ...In this scenario, some studies have tested the use of chemical conditioning agents such as hydrogen peroxide to minimize the negative effects of stress on plants. From this perspective, this study aimed to evaluate the action of priming with hydrogen peroxide as a salt stress attenuator on the nutrient solution uptake and productivity of chives in a hydroponic system. The study was conducted in a protected environment with a randomized block design with a split-plot arrangement. The treatments consisted of a main plot consisting of the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 dSm−1) and a subplot with five hydrogen peroxide concentrations (0.0, 0.15, 0.30, 0.45, and 0.60 mM). The increase in the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution reduced bulb length, the solution volume applied, water uptake, total fresh mass, and the solution use efficiency by plants. Throughout the cultivation cycle in the hydroponic system, the consumption of nutrient solution was 459 mm lost by evapotranspiration. Acclimation with 0.60 mM hydrogen peroxide associated with 1 dSm−1 of electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution favors bulb diameter in chives. The increase in electrical conductivity compromises the productive yield of chives.
The sensory profile from the Coffea canephora stands out for being denser, less sweet, presenting less acidity, and having characteristics of a marked aroma of roasted cereals. Coffee is essentially ...a terroir product, that is, directly influenced by environmental aspects, both natural and anthropic, in this sense, it has been argued that Coffea canephora is linked to the context of inferior coffees in sensory terms by the terroir conditions. This study aimed to characterize and investigate the terroir in different areas of Conilon coffee production, with the application of different fermentation methods, and to observe their possible gains and losses in the sensory quality of Coffea canephora. Cherry coffee samples were collected in six municipalities in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, which has an altitude variation from 376 m to 866 m. The study showed that the local characteristics of altitude and temperature directly influence the sensory quality, as well as demonstrated that natural fermentation in a specific altitude zone delivered good results, fixing the terroir factor. Finally, it was demonstrated that induced fermentation helps to improve sensory quality for higher altitude areas, indicating the possibility of reformulating the terroir of Conilon coffee production.
Plant resistance to drought stress is a parameter that should be studied with more emphasis in the search for higher agricultural yields. In this scenario, research within breeding programs should be ...directed toward specific mechanisms of action and important agricultural crops in worldwide agribusiness. From this perspective, this study carried out a bibliographic investigation regarding the advances in genetic improvement aimed at drought stress in crops using a hybrid model of analysis of scientific articles. The analysis employed bibliometric parameters for qualitative and quantitative discussion of scientific production and the methodological process of systematic review for the synthesis of the results obtained. The work was divided into four stages: the search for articles in databases, meta-analysis, bibliometric analysis, and systematic analysis. Scientific articles were searched for on the Scopus, Scielo, and Web of Science databases within a 20-year timeframe. Most authors and institutions were from Asian countries, demonstrating the need for global expansion of research on the subject. With regard to the co-occurrence networks between the keywords used in the search, a focus was observed on the following terms: drought resistance, drought stress; drought, and drought tolerance. Evidently, the primary mechanism of tolerance or even resistance studied in breeding programs is associated with the expression of genes and genetically modified organisms that confer resistance to plants. Also, the crops addressed in the research retrieved are highly diverse.

, a crushed pine bark, with limestone, and seven treatments with increasing proportions of tannery sludge/decreasing urban waste compost (0/100; 10/90; 30/70; 50/50; 70/30; 90/10 and 100/0 v/v). Characteristics of emergence, growth, quality and leaf nitrogen (N) content were evaluated. No difference was found in the emergence of eggplant seedlings among the different treatments used; however, the growth characteristics, quality and N content featured significant effects when the seeds were propagated in alternative substrates. Regression adjustments pointed to an optimal range of 41-49% of tannery sludge associated with urban waste compost for the evaluated characteristics. The strong correlation between SPAD and N content shows its potentiality in detecting N deficiencies in seedlings. The use of tannery sludge residues associated with urban waste compost seems to be an appropriate and sustainable practice for recycling with high agronomic potential.
Esta pesquisa analisa, por meio de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, o papel e as atribuições do preceptor na formação dos profissionais da saúde no contexto do ensino em cenários de ...aprendizagem do Sistema Único de Saúde. A revisão teve caráter exploratório e utilizou a base de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde. Os descritores combinados para a busca foram: preceptoria AND estágio clínico, preceptoria AND sistema único de saúde e educação AND preceptoria. As publicações deveriam ser artigos, dissertações, teses, em português/inglês/espanhol, envolvendo pesquisas empíricas sobre a temática, publicados de 2001-2018. Foram analisados 54 estudos, sendo 35 artigos, 17 dissertações e duas teses. Os estudos incluíram 11 diferentes profissões da saúde e, em sua maioria, utilizaram abordagem metodológica qualitativa O preceptor foi identificado como o profissional do serviço de saúde que orienta, media, integra, acompanha, supervisiona, aconselha, escuta, demonstra, explica, forma, conscientiza e avalia o estudante, ensinando pelo trabalho, aliando saberes teóricos à realidade dos serviços e aproximando o estudante da equipe de saúde e usuários. Além da capacidade técnica, o preceptor deve ter habilidades relacionais e competências didático-pedagógicas que sejam facilitadoras do aprendizado. Desafios voltados à formação didático-pedagógico do preceptor, fragilidade na relação do preceptor com as Instituições de Ensino Superior, infraestrutura inadequada para as atividades de ensino nos serviços e dificuldade do preceptor conciliar a supervisão dos estudantes com as atividades clínicas da rotina do trabalho, foram identificados. Estudos complementares são recomendados, buscando o fortalecimento de evidências sobre o papel do preceptor no ensino da saúde.Palavras-chave: Preceptoria. Educação. O presente ensaio visual é composto pelo trabalho intitulado “O homem que era só metade”; nele articulam-se processos de criação no campo da Arte Contemporânea que exploram as possibilidades do corpo ...e do objeto no espaço urbano e as trocas que podem ser estabelecidas entre as potencialidades do espaço e a subjetividade humana.
A nivel global, se viene reconfigurando durante la última década un nuevo escenario geopolítico, que tiene como criterio ordenador la valoración de recursos naturales estratégicos (especialmente ...hidrocarburos y agua, y en menor medida biodiversidad, alimentos y tierra fértil) y su espacialidad (en tanto, dichos recursos están en un territorio determinado política y territorialmente). El escenario sudamericano no escapa a esta lógica internacional, la cual influye, con diferentes niveles de intensidad, en la determinación de líneas estratégicas de defensa nacional en Brasil, Venezuela y (en menor medida) la Argentina. Se definen de esta manera escenarios de competencia y de confluencia, los cuales pueden adquirir niveles variables de conflicto (como un enfrentamiento armado) y de cooperación (como la consolidación del Consejo Sudamericano de Defensa). Estos escenarios están situados geográficamente en: yacimientos de petróleo y gas, Amazonas, fuentes de agua, Antártica, mar Atlántico y tierra fértil. Las estrategias de defensa fijan pautas para el diseño de fuerzas, en tanto apliquen a las hipótesis antes señaladas. Por lo tanto, el sector defensa reconfigura las capacidades de sus FF.AA (vigilancia, logística, medios, capacitación del personal, doctrina) en función de cumplir con la misión de controlar los entornos con disponibilidad de recursos naturales.
Some components found in the composition of the tannery sludge are nutrients for the plants; it can be considered an alternative source of fertilization as they have favorable agronomic ...characteristics. However, it is reported in some studies that the presence of chromium and sodium in this residue causes physiological and anatomical disturbances that inhibit the development of the plants. The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of chromium and sodium on the physiology, anatomy, and development of Conilon coffee seedlings grown on substrates produced with tannery sludge and equivalent doses of chromium and sodium. The experiment was carried out in nursery using randomized block design, containing 5 treatments and 7 repetitions. The treatments consisted of the application of a 40% tannery sludge dose and equivalent doses of chromium and sodium mixed with a conventional substrate. Notably, the presence of sodium in the substrate caused greater damage to the plants, negatively influencing the physiology, anatomy, and, consequently, development of the plants, while the presence of chromium suggests that it does not influence much the evaluated characteristics. The treatment with tannery sludge, on the other hand, despite containing the same chromium and sodium contents, revealed a more pronounced negative influence on the physiology, anatomy, and development patterns of the seedlings. This shows that sodium and chromium alone are not the only factors responsible for the lowest growth indicators studied.
Introduction: Depression disables and compromises quality of life, so that its high prevalence in medical students is a relevant problem. It is known that hormonal variables, such as cortisolemia, as ...well as socioeconomic factors can be related to the onset of depressive symptoms. This study aimed to verify the prevalence of depressive symptoms in medical students at a University Center in Maceió and analyze their correlation with serum cortisol levels, lifestyle and socioeconomic profile. Method: Quantitative, analytical and cross-sectional study of medical students from a private medical school in Maceió. A sample of 122 students participated in the study, which applied the Beck Depression Inventory, socioeconomic questionnaire and serum cortisol dosage. Results: Of the 78 women and 44 men participating in the study, 40 cases of depressive symptoms were identified (32.9%), of which 3 cases had severe depressive symptoms (2.5%), 9 cases had moderate depressive symptoms (7.4%) and 28 had mild depressive symptoms (23.0%). As for the cortisol levels, the mean value obtained was 12.72 µg/dL, with a maximum and minimum value of 29.7 µg/dL and 0.9 µg/dL, respectively. No correlation was found between depressive symptoms and morning serum cortisol levels in this study. Among the explanatory variables analyzed, only religion attained a statistically significant correlation with depressive symptoms, with a prevalence of higher scores in students who did not have a religion. Conclusion: It can be emphasized that there is a high prevalence of depression among medical students. The results obtained in this study show that the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis alteration is not the only etiology associated with the development of depression. In turn, religious practice showed to be statistically significant in relation to the lowest rate of depressive symptoms, revealing itself as a probable protective factor against the development of depression.
Resumo: Introdução: A depressão incapacita e causa comprometimento da qualidade de vida, de modo que a alta prevalência desta em estudantes de Medicina é problema relevante. Sabe-se que variáveis hormonais, como cortisolemia, e fatores socioeconômicos podem estar relacionados ao surgimento de sintomas depressivos. Este estudo teve como objetivos verificar a prevalência de sintomas depressivos em estudantes de Medicina de um centro universitário de Maceió e analisar sua correlação com os níveis de cortisol sérico, os hábitos de vida e o perfil socioeconômico. Método: Trata-se de estudo quantitativo, analítico e de caráter transversal com estudantes de Medicina de uma faculdade privada de Maceió. Uma amostra de 122 acadêmicos aderiu à pesquisa, na qual se aplicaram o Inventário de Depressão de Beck e um questionário socioeconômico. Realizou-se ainda a dosagem do cortisol sérico. Resultados: Dentre 78 mulheres e 44 homens participantes, foram identificados 40 casos de sintomas depressivos (32,9%), sendo três casos de sintomas depressivos graves (2,5%), nove casos de sintomas depressivos moderados (7,4%) e 28 com sintomas depressivos leves (23,0%). Quanto à dosagem de cortisol, o valor médio obtido foi de 12,72 µg/dL, obtendo-se um valor máximo e um mínimo de 29,7 µg/dL e 0,9 µg/dL, respectivamente. Não foi constatada nenhuma correlação entre os sintomas depressivos e os níveis de cortisol sérico matinal neste estudo. Entre as variáveis explicativas analisadas, apenas religião obteve uma correlação estatisticamente significativa com os sintomas depressivos, com prevalência de escores de maiores valores entre os estudantes que não possuem uma religião. Conclusões: Ressalta-se a alta prevalência de depressão entre os estudantes de Medicina. Os resultados obtidos denotam que a alteração do eixo hipotálamo-pituitária-adrenal não é a única etiologia associada ao desenvolvimento da depressão. Por sua vez, a prática religiosa revelou-se como um provável fator protetor do seu desenvolvimento.
