Cet article examine la reconversion de la "Halle aux pigeons" en "Maison de l'Habitat durable" à Lille, démontrant comment la préservation du patrimoine architectural peut être harmonisée avec les ...impératifs de durabilité de notre époque. L'étude repose sur une méthodologie interdisciplinaire qui intègre des domaines diversifiés, pour mettre en relief les avantages et les défis inhérents à cette approche. L'idée fondamentale est que la reconversion des édifices historiques en espaces contemporains et durables représente une solution viable pour préserver le patrimoine tout en répondant aux besoins actuels. Pour atteindre cet objectif, l'étude fait appel à des méthodes de collecte de données exhaustives, notamment l'analyse documentaire et visuelle, ainsi que l'analyse qualitative, à la fois thématique et comparative. L'objectif ultime est de fournir une compréhension approfondie de cette entreprise de préservation durable du patrimoine bâti, en mettant en lumière son histoire, sa transformation, et son influence sur le tissu urbain contemporain.

Static program analyses and transformations for Java face many problems when analyzing programs that use reflection or custom class loaders: How can a static analysis know which reflective calls the ...program will execute? How can it get hold of classes that the program loads from remote locations or even generates on the fly? And if the analysis transforms classes, how can these classes be re-inserted into a program that uses custom class loaders?
In this paper, we present TamiFlex, a tool chain that offers a partial but often effective solution to these problems. With TamiFlex, programmers can use existing static-analysis tools to produce results that are sound at least with respect to a set of recorded program runs. TamiFlex inserts runtime checks into the program that warn the user in case the program executes reflective calls that the analysis did not take into account. TamiFlex further allows programmers to re-insert offline-transformed classes into a program.
We evaluate TamiFlex in two scenarios: benchmarking with the DaCapo benchmark suite and analysing large-scale interactive applications. For the latter, TamiFlex significantly improves code coverage of the static analyses, while for the former our approach even appears complete: the inserted runtime checks issue no warning. Hence, for the first time, TamiFlex enables sound static whole-program analyses on DaCapo. During this process, TamiFlex usually incurs less than 10% runtime overhead.
A set of challenges of developing secure software using the agile development approach and methods are reported in the literature. This paper reports about a systematic literature review to identify ...these challenges and evaluates the causes of each of these challenges, with respect to the agile values, the agile principles, and the security assurance practices. We identified in this study 20 challenges, which are reported in 10 publications. We found that 14 of these challenges are valid and 6 are neither caused by the agile values and principles, nor by the security assurance practices. We also found that 2 of the the valid challenges are related to the software development life-cycle, 4are related to incremental development, 4 are related to security assurance, 2 are related to awareness and collaboration, and 2 are related to security management. These results justify the need for research to make developing secure software smooth.
Currently, huge amount of data, resulting from the continuous tracking of moving objects, are collected, and stored in appropriate repositories. From these data trajectory data are generated and ...analyzed to produce knowledge useful for decision-making. Obviously, trajectory data sets need efficient and effective analysis and mining processes to infer mobility patterns and consequently constitute rich sources for many contributions such those related to predictions. Most of researches, presented in the literature, focus on tracking and predicting moving object positions, without taking into account their ever-changing contexts and their environmental impacts. Any environment surrounding any object is dynamic vs static and its influence goes beyond current state to the predicted ones. The aim of this paper is not only to propose a new approach to predict the future position of a moving object based on mobility patterns but also it takes into account the ever-evolving contexts and environments of the underlying objects. We experimented our approach on real case study datasets related to hurricanes' activities. The proposed approach is performed in three phases. The first phase allows the generation of object mobility patterns. In the second phase, spatiotemporal mobility rules are extracted from the previously generated patterns. In the third and last phase, hurricane future position prediction is accomplished by using the extracted rules enhanced by context and environmental characteristics. The proposed model leads to a generic one representing facts and discovering knowledge through various applications including different mobile objects and their associated patterns, environmental and contexts.
The development of mobile technologies has paved the way for new and various applications taking advantage of trajectory data resulting from moving objects activities in their associated ecosystems. ...Such data can be mainly handled either by real time applications or by oriented decision-making tools going from trajectory data warehouse technology to data mining classical advanced instruments. Indeed, applications dealing with moving objects encompass hidden significant knowledge that can be made visible through analytical and mining tools. This precious knowledge could not come properly in hands only if, the trajectory data problem modeling is global, precise, and concise. The aim of this paper is to investigate the appropriate literature on moving objects, trajectory data, and trajectory data warehouse modeling going from classical to ontological existing patterns. A comparison will be made between them, through which strong and limited contributions will be shown. This work aims to be valuable for researchers aiming to select and use modeling approaches in mobile objects ecosystems.
In this work, we describe the preparation of a new zero-Dimensional (0D) lead bromide hybrid material, with the structural formula (C 5 H 9 N 3) 2 PbBr 6 , of which crystallographic, thermal, ...optical, and electrical properties have been studied and analyzed. Single crystals of (C 5 H 9 N 3) 2 PbBr 6 material were grown using a slow evaporation solution method at room temperature. The molecular structure reveals that the crystal packing is made of isolated PbBr 6 4− units into which organic (C 5 H 9 N 3) 2+ cations are embedded and linked by a combination of N/C-H … Br hydrogen bonds and stacking interactions forming a three-dimensional network. The Hirshfeld surface analysis and fingerprint plots facilitates a quantification of non-covalent intermolecular interactions, which are crucial in building the supramolecular architectures. Upon photoexcitation, the crystals exhibit an efficient green emission band covering a large spectral region from 400 to 700 nm peaking at 592 nm. The optical band gap was calculated to be E g = 3.45 eV. The electrical conductivity of this material shows that the most suitable equivalent circuit is represented by a single parallel cell formed by (R g ‖CPE g), the value of the activation energy is 1.18 eV. Thermal analysis reveals that the decomposition of the sample starts from 275 K. Density functional theory (DFT) was performed to determine the electronic structure of the tilted compound. The DFT calculation shows that the title compound is direct semiconductor with a band gap energy of about 2.97 eV.

Objectives:
(1) Describe the clinical spectrum, imaging features, management, and outcome of brown tumors (BT) of the jaws. (2) Determine via a literature review the facts and controversies around ...the characteristics and management of this lesion.
Materials and methods:
Our study was approved by the institutional committee of Sahloul University Hospital in accordance with the ethical standards of the Declaration of Helsinki. Sixteen patients with BT in the context of a primary, secondary, and tertiary hyperparathyroidism were treated and followed up during their recovery.
Results:
This study reports 16 patients with a mean age of 48 years old. Brown tumor lesions were associated with primary hyperparathyroidism in 6 cases (38%), secondary hyperparathyroidism to chronic kidney failure in 5 cases (31%), and tertiary hyperparathyroidism in the context of a long lasting CRI in 5 cases. Their location was maxillary in 7 cases, mandibular in 5 cases, and bimaxillary in 4 cases. The treatment consisted of parathyroidectomy in 13 patients, maxillary resection in 3 cases, and vitamin D treatment in 2 cases. Favorable outcomes, characterized by tumor regression, were reported in 9 cases, whereas unfavorable evolution was observed among 7 patients.
Conclusion:
Parathyroidectomy is the gold standard treatment for primary hyperparathyroidism. It resulted in a total regression in all our cases. Regarding secondary hyperparathyroidism, blood screening and chronic renal insufficiency follow-up are critically valuable to detect this condition at an early stage, hence increasing the success rate of brown tumor regression. Our secondary and tertiary hyperparathyroidism results were miscellaneous; although it is important to emphasize the importance of the chronic renal insufficiency management to ensure a success.
Clinical relevance:
Brown tumors should be included in the differential diagnosis of giant cell lesions. Parathyroidectomy is usually sufficient to induce the total regression of the lesion in primary hyperparathyroidism cases. A more delicate approach is needed regarding secondary hyperparathyroidism. Meticulous control of chronic renal insufficiency is mandatory in addition to parathyroidectomy.

Coxsackie B4 (CV-B4), is a major cause of viral myocarditis, dilated cardiomyopathy, and pancreatitis. Like other human enteroviruses, CV-B4 is ubiquitous, excreted in the stool, transmitted by ...fecal–oral route, and persists in the environment. In the context of studies on CV-B4 infection, it is important to investigate how this virus can be eliminated and to show the possibility of contamination risk with a CV-B4 E2 infected Swiss albino mice. Swiss albino female mice were inoculated with CV-B4 E2 strain and divided in two groups: the first was intraperitoneally (I.P.) infected; the second was orally infected. In order to study the CV-B4 E2 infection in mice, total RNA was extracted from thymus, spleen, pancreas, and intestine, and viral genome was detected using semi-nested (RT-PCR). To further demonstrate infection or immunization of mice, Sera obtained from infected mice were assayed in vitro for their neutralizing antibody. To detect virus in stool of infected mice, stool samples were collected at different post-infection (p.i.) times. Neutralizing antibodies were detectable all along the follow-up period (Day 0, 1, 3, 7, 9, 17, 22, 30, 45, 60 p.i.) in I.P and oral infected mice. Our results showed that when mice were inoculated successively at day 0 and day 8, neutralizing activity was increased in I.P route more than in the oral route. Viral isolation in HEp-2 cells showed negative results. Stool viral analyses reveal a low detection of the CV-B4 E2 genome for all infected mice. In conclusion, our experiments demonstrated that there are no risks linked with the stool of CV-B4 E2 of Swiss albino mice. It would be interesting to characterize the inhibitors of the virus infectivity in these biological samples (stool) and investigate their targets and mechanisms of action.
Recently, higher contamination by aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) has been detected in many countries. Unfortunately, many tons of contaminated milk and milk byproducts are removed from the food chain to avoid ...human contamination; as a consequence of higher economic losses. Fewest number of studies are interested to AFM1 detoxification using lactic acid bacteria.
In this study, AFM1-degradation using Lactobacillus paracasei BEJ01 (LPBEJ01) was tested in vitro. The preventive effect of LPBEJ01 against AFM1 immunobiological effects in mice are treated orally during 3 weeks with 100 µg AFM1, LPBEJ01 (2 × 10

CFU/ml∼2 mg/kg p.c.) and a mixture of AFM1 and LPBEJ01.
In vitro LPBEJ01 was found able to absorb 98% of AFM1 (100 µg/ml) in liquid medium after 24 h and more than 95% of AFM1 could be eliminated after 24 h in a solid-state fermentation. Animals treated with AFM1 obtained lower body weight than the control ones. The mitogenic response of spleen mononuclear cells (SMCs) in vivo was higher in mice treated with AFM1. The SMC of mice treated with AFM1 produced lower levels of IL-2, higher levels IL-4 and no effect on IL-10 production. The peritoneal macrophages of mice that treated with AFM1 released less H
2
O
2
, while mice exposed orally with the mixture of AFM1 and LPBEJ01 produced higher levels.
LPBEJ01 was safe and it did not have any sign of toxicity. It can be used as an additive for AFM1-detoxification contamination in the food chain in countries suffering from this problem.
