Background:
Evidence shows that, to reach global goals related to women and girls’ access to modern family planning (FP) and gender equality, it is critical to understand and account for the role of ...men and boys as users of reproductive health services, as partners for millions of women & girls around the world, and as advocates in their communities. Under the Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) partnership, countries were encouraged to develop costed implementation plans and action plans in an effort to provide 120 million additional women and girls with contraception. As FP2020 becomes FP2030, reviewing these previously-developed strategies helps understand the extent to which countries considered the engagement of men as an important aspect of their family planning portfolios.
Methods:
We conducted textual analysis on commitments and implementation plans related to achieving FP2020 commitments in seven countries in Africa and one in Asia to determine the extent to which male engagement was incorporated into country or subnational family planning goals, with particular focus on FP policy, program, and financial commitments.
Results:
Some of the documents analyzed included robust plans for including male engagement in their efforts to expand access to FP. The strongest aspects of male engagement programming were those that sought to engage men as advocates for women’s access to and use of FP services, and improve men’s knowledge and attitudes related to contraception and reproduction. The weakest aspects were engaging men as users of services and, vitally, tackling underlying gender norms which hamper men’s and women’s health-seeking behaviors and attitudes.
Conclusions:
Developing FP programs that target men and boys as people deserving of reproductive health services, as partners with women in building their families, and as social activists in their communities, will complement and strengthen existing FP programs as well as promote broader goals related to gender equality.
One of the key activities of any company is the management of documents, which are created on a daily basis. Classic document management cannot follow the needs of the market for companies with a ...desire to be agile and modern. Therefore, companies need to offer employees a solution that allows them to carefully store and archive documentation, while at the same time giving them enough time to perform their main daily tasks. Electronic management of documents not only influences companies' workflows, savings and adaptions to market needs but also influences their digital transformation. It is also necessary to consider the influences on the environment. The influence of the production and use of paper in daily business has burdened the environment a lot in the past and it is about time that this matter is addressed. Implementation of a document management system (DMS) is now almost a must-have for companies wanting to be competitive in the market and with a desire to digitalise its processes, and is also surely a good step in the right direction for the environment. The aim of this paper is to define the advantages of disadvantages of a DMS as part of companies' digital transformation as well as to provide an overview of the process of implementation and to analyse future trends and predictions in this field. For better understanding, the authors also included some examples of the implementation of a DMS in Slovenian companies.

Najpomembnejše poslovne informacijske rešitve, ki se izvajajo v podjetjih, so (Sternad Zabukovšek idr., 2020): rešitve ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), rešitve CRM (Customer Relationship Management), rešitve SCM (Supply Chain Management), DMS (Document Management System), rešitve BPM (Business Process Management), rešitve HRM (Human Resource Management), rešitve MES (Manufacturing Execution System) itd. Klasično upravljanje dokumentov ne more slediti potrebam trga, če želimo imeti agilno in sodobno podjetje. Zato morajo podjetja zaposlenim ponuditi rešitev, ki jim bo omogočala skrbno hranjenje in arhiviranje dokumentacije, hkrati pa jim dati dovolj časa za opravljanje glavnih dnevnih nalog.
An assessment in 2019 by Family Planning 2020 of progress on rights-based family planning since 2012 highlighted the development of tools and guidelines that identify and explain rights in relation ...to family planning, promotion of rights-based approaches to programing, strengthened accountability, and measurement of rights-focused outcomes. The assessment was also forward-looking, asking what aspects of rights-based family planning still need attention moving from 2020 to 2030.
This paper draws on interviews with 23 key informants from governments, civil society, and youth focused organizations, implementing partners, and bi-lateral and multilateral organizations from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and North America, all working on family planning and engaged in various roles with the FP2020 partnership at global and national levels, along with documentation of FP2030 partnership plans. The interviews were conducted as part of the assessment and included questions to respondents for their recommendations on rights-based family planning moving towards 2030.
Respondents agreed that rights should be at the center of the vision for family planning, with attention to rights literacy, accountability and equity, including adolescent and youth leadership. They noted the need for consistent political and financial support, and incorporating rights into result-based financing programming. While respondents noted the need for development and dissemination of practical tools and training materials, along with rights metrics and implementation research, they stressed the importance of focusing work on rights at the country level. Respondents also acknowledged that institutionalizing rights-based family planning will require enhanced commitment and funding from both donors and countries to ensure programming - and success - over the long term. Amplifying civil society and particularly adolescent and youth voices will be key to engaging governments to support both rights-based programming and provide funding. Review of initial planning under FP2030 related to each of the recommendations suggests that the new partnership is seeking to addressing each of them.
As the family planning field looks beyond 2020 to 2030, this paper provides a roadmap for building on the gains made over the past decade to effectively tackle the challenges remaining to ensure that programming to achieve the vision of the FP2030 Partnership is rights-based.
Document management systems (DMS) have become an important topic regarding digital transformation in organizations because they enable paperless business, speed up processes, lower business costs, ...and support sustainability activities in organizations. DMSs should be considered as green technology and also as technology crucial for green digital transformation. Sustainability is becoming increasingly crucial for organizations and society, and DMSs, along with paperless business, can contribute to the sustainable orientation of organizations. However, the problem with DMS implementations is that they often fail and that DMS users often use DMSs at a basic level, which means that, among other things, they still prefer to print documents rather than use electronic documents. A framework that can contribute to a better implementation and a higher level of use of DMSs, which both lead to a more green digital transformation of the organization, represents an organization’s maturity. We used the Process and Enterprise Maturity Model (PEMM) to assess the organization’s maturity level concerning the DMS’ life cycle. Findings are presented from the research study. The research study was based on a questionnaire and collected data from DMS users. The research study showed that an organization’s maturity impacts the DMS’ life cycle. Organizations that manage the DMS’ life cycle will better cope with digital transformation and sustainability issues related to paperless business.
The topic of the article addresses the management of the document management system (DMS), which represents one of the important steps for organizations to speed up the implementation of business ...processes, achieve better control over documents, and ensure safer operations. When implementing and using DMS, the importance of the organization’s maturity shall not be forgotten, as it gives the organization a framework to evaluate and improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s DMS, which can contribute to better decision-making and increased productivity. On the other hand, sustainable-oriented organizations are likely to show interest in choosing, implementing, and using DMS. In the article, the impact of an organization’s maturity and the role of sustainability on the DMS lifecycle are researched. Results are presented based on a case analysis of Company X. Supporting the case analysis, structured interviews with the project leader on the clients’ and the project leader on the providers’ side have been performed, which shall give a deeper insight into DMS implementation and the importance of sustainability and organizational maturity, resulting in more successful DMS implementation and use.

The metabolism of nitrovasodilators such as glyceryl trinitrate and nitroprusside provides the active moiety of these drugs
(that is, nitric oxide). This process is not limited to the known ...nitrovasodilators, but also occurs with nitroaromatic antimicrobials.
Here we report that the administration of hydroxyurea, an antitumor drug, to rats at pharmacological doses formed detectable
nitrosyl hemoglobin, which increased with dose. At higher doses, nitrosyl hemoprotein complexes could also be detected in
liver tissue. 15 Nhydroxyurea was synthesized and compared with 14 Nhydroxyurea. These observations verified that nitric oxide detected as nitrosyl hemoglobin or nitrosyl hemoprotein complexes
in rats was the result of the metabolism of hydroxyurea. The time course and dose-dependence of nitric oxide generation were
also investigated. Hydroxyureaâs antineoplastic activity is caused by its direct action on ribonucleotide reductase, the rate-limiting
enzyme in DNA synthesis. Because nitric oxide also inhibits ribonucleotide reductase, this metabolite may supplement this
action of hydroxyurea. In addition, the known ability of hydroxyurea to ease the pain of sickle cell anemia patients may be
the result of vasodilation by the drug-derived nitric oxide.
