We present experimental results for T20 component of the tensor analyzing power for incoherent π− photoproduction on a deuteron. The experiment was performed on an internal tensor-polarized gas ...deuterium target of the VEPP-3 electron storage ring in 2021 using the proton-proton coincidence method. The data are compared with the results of numerical simulation.

The cross section of the process e + e − → π + π − has been measured in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.32 to 1.2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000. The ...measurement is based on an integrated luminosity of about 88 pb − 1 , of which 62 pb − 1 represent a complete dataset collected by CMD-3 at center-of-mass energies below 1 GeV. In the dominant region near the ρ resonance a systematic uncertainty of 0.7% was achieved. The implications of the presented results for the evaluation of the hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon are discussed. Published by the American Physical Society 2024

Since 2010 the CMD-3 detector has been collecting data at the e+e− collider VEPP-2000 at Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. CMD-3 is a general purpose detector designed to study e+e− annihilation ...into hadrons in the wide energy range s=0.3–2GeV. The CMD-3 barrel electromagnetic calorimeter consists of two subsystems: closest to the beam pipe is the Liquid Xenon calorimeter and the outer one is based on CsI scintillation crystals. The design of the calorimeter and its current performance are presented.

Regular data taking with the CMD-3 at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000 is under way since 2010. The collected data sample corresponds to about 200 inverse picobarns of integrated luminosity ...per detector in the energy range from 0.32 up to 2 GeV, with a goal to collect about 1

The process e+e−→ϕ→K+K− has been studied with the CMD-2 detector using about 542 000 events detected in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.01 to 1.034 GeV. The systematic error of the cross ...section is estimated to be 2.2%. The ϕ(1020) meson parameters in the ϕ→K+K− decay channel have been measured: σ0(ϕ→K+K−)=2016±8±44 nb, mϕ=1019.441±0.008±0.080 MeV/c2, Γϕ=4.24±0.02±0.03 MeV, Be+e−BK+K−=(14.27±0.05±0.31)×10−5.

The CMD-3 detector has been collecting data since 2010 at the e+e− collider VEPP-2000 in the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. VEPP-2000 uses the novel round beam technique and provides high ...luminosity in a wide c.m.energy range from 0.32 to 2 GeV. The physics goal of the CMD-3 experiment is a study of the e+e− annihilation into hadrons. CMD-3 is a general-purpose detector, which provides high efficiency for both charged and neutral particles. The electromagnetic calorimeter consists of the barrel calorimeter based on liquid xenon and CsI crystals, and the endcap calorimeter based on BGO crystals. The main parameters of the calorimeters are presented.
Pentacyclic triterpenoids are a large class of natural isoprenoids that are widely biosynthesized in higher plants. These compounds are potent anticancer agents that exhibit antiproliferative, ...antiangiogenic, antiinflammatory and proapoptotic activities. Although their effects on multiple pathways have been reported, unifying mechanisms of action have not yet been established. To date, a huge number of semisynthetic derivatives have been synthesized in different laboratories on the basis of triterpenoid scaffolds, and many have been assayed for their biological activities. The present review focuses on natural triterpenoids of the oleanane-, ursane- and lupane-types and their semisynthetic derivatives. Here, we summarize the diverse cellular and molecular targets of these compounds and the signal pathways involved in the performance of their antitumour actions. Among the most relevant mechanisms involved are cell cycle arrest, apoptosis and autophagy triggered by the effect of triterpenoids on TGF-β and HER cell surface receptors and the downstream PI3KAkt- mTOR and IKK/NF-kB signaling axis, STAT3 pathway and MAPK cascades.
