Sažetak. Cilj rada. Individualni rizik trisomije 21, 18 i 13 izračunavali smo kombinacijom dobnog rizika trudnice, ultrazvučnih biljega u ploda (debljina nuhalnog nabora – NT, udaljenosti tjeme-trtica – CRL) te biokemijskih biljega u serumu trudnice (slobodni -hCG i PAPP-A), pomoću licenciranog računalnog programa (Typolog). Koncentracije biokemijskih biljega smo određivali imunometrijskom kemiluminiscentnom metodom (IMMULITE). Prvi rezultati provođenja kombiniranog probirnog testa u Hrvatskoj potvrdili su visoku osjetljivost i veću specifičnost, u poredbi s biokemijskim probirnim testom u drugom tromjesečju trudnoće.
In the extant literature, transition economies are sporadically addressed under the moniker of emerging economies and often only through calls for more contextualized research. Moreover, not all ...transition economies are emerging, as attempts at rapid transformation have resulted in economic deterioration as well. Yet, we lack models that approach the coordination of market and nonmarket strategies in contexts experiencing ongoing economic malaise. Accordingly, we examined the institutional and market strategies of Frikom, a regional ice cream producer profiting in the demoralized transition economy of Serbia, to identify antecedents to socio-cultural demoralization, elaborate a reconstructed view of nonmarket strategy in a demoralized transition economy, and conceptualize an integrated alignment model for firms competing in demoralized transitional economic environments.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical reliability of the immunoscintigraphy with radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies for the detection of metastases and recurrences of rectal carcinomas.
...A total of 65 patients underwent immunoscintigraphy with radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies. Indication for that examination was suspicious rectal cancer or suspicious rectal cancer recurrence and/or metastases.
The method proved to have 92.7% sensitivity, specificity 83.3%, positive predictive value 90.5%, negative predictive value 87.0% and accuracy 89.2%. There was a statistically significant relationship between immunoscintigraphy findings and rectoscopy findings (rs=0.415, p=0.013), as well as significant relationship between immunoscintigraphy findings and US findings (rs=0.332, p=0.001). Tumor marker levels were in positive correlation with findings of immunoscintigraphy (rs=0.845, p=0.001), especially raised CEA level (rs=0.816, p=0.004). Patients with higher CA19-9 level had higher Duke's stage (p=0.025).
We can conclude that immunoscintigraphy can be helpful in the detection of metastases and recurrences of colon carcinomas.
Abstract
In this chapter we examine various human resource management (HRM) implications involved in the leadership of fluid teams. Leadership of fluid teams, which are distinguished by their dynamic ...composition, requires consideration of issues that may not be as pertinent for stable teams. In particular, we focus on the concept of familiarity. Composing and leading teams with members exhibiting varying degrees of familiarity with one another creates obstacles to effective and efficient functioning and may ultimately lead to poor performance. With this in mind, leaders must pay particular attention to issues of coordination, and composition such that a broad range of generalizable teamwork skills exists within the team. Within this chapter, we explain the concepts of fluid teams, team leadership within fluid teams, and other relevant concepts related to the formation of familiarity. Next, we thoroughly review extant empirical and theoretical research within these areas. We identify areas of correspondence among the various concepts and findings of the reviewed studies and generate an integrated model of fluid team leadership. To conclude, we highlight the distinct HRM implications associated with the use, and leadership, of fluid teams.
