A metal‐ and oxidant‐free electrochemical method for preparing selenomethyl‐substituted cyclic ethers or lactones via difunctionalization of olefines is presented. A series of ...selenomethyl‐substituted cyclic ethers, particularly 9‐ and 11‐ membered, selenomethyl‐substituted lactones (4‐6 membered), and selenomethyl‐substituted phthalides can be obtained via this reaction. This method features convenient operation, an electron as oxidant, and ammonium iodide as electrolyte, thereby making it a green synthesis method.
A electrochemical method for the synthesis of 3,5‐disubstituted‐1,2,4‐thiadiazoles through NH4I‐mediated dimerization of thioamides is reported. Using the inexpensive NH4I as electrolyte and ...catalyst, this electrosynthesis approach requires no oxidizing agents and enables the convenient production of diverse 1,2,4‐thiadiazoles products. The approach is an example of S−N bond construction through the electrochemical method.
The trimethylene sulfate (TMS) was introduced to regulate Li deposition. The sulfuryl-containing components and increased content of Li2O were introduced into fluorinated SEI, further improving the ...homogeneity of solid electrolyte interphase and promoting uniform Li deposition in batteries under practical conditions. Abstract
The remarkable advances in next-generation sequencing technology have enabled the wide usage of sequencing as a clinical tool. To promote the advance of precision oncology for breast cancer ...in China, here we report a large-scale prospective clinical sequencing program using the Fudan-BC panel, and comprehensively analyze the clinical and genomic characteristics of Chinese breast cancer. The mutational landscape of 1,134 breast cancers reveals that the most significant differences between Chinese and Western patients occurred in the hormone receptor positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative breast cancer subtype. Mutations in p53 and Hippo signaling pathways are more prevalent, and 2 mutually exclusive and 9 co-occurring patterns exist among 9 oncogenic pathways in our cohort. Further preclinical investigation partially suggests that
NF2
loss-of-function mutations can be sensitive to a Hippo-targeted strategy. We establish a public database (Fudan Portal) and a precision medicine knowledge base for data exchange and interpretation. Collectively, our study presents a leading approach to Chinese precision oncology treatment and reveals potentially actionable mutations in breast cancer.
The electrocatalytic ring-opening dihydroalkoxylation of
-aryl maleimides with alcohols under metal- and oxidant-free conditions is described. This electrochemical process consists of anodic ...single-electron transfer oxidation, cathodic radical reduction, rearrangement-ring cleavage and nucleophilic addition cascade, which employs tetrabutylammonium bromide not only as a redox catalyst but also as an efficient supporting electrolyte, and offers a practical and environmentally friendly route to ring-opening difunctionalization products.
The development of atom- and step-economical methods for converting hazardous CS2 into harmless chemicals is a challenging endeavor. Herein, we disclose a feasible strategy for the electrochemical ...dehydrogenative coupling of CS2 and amines with β-ketoesters, which leads to dithiocarbamate intermediates in the presence of bases. In addition, inexpensive starting materials, broad substrate scope, and compatibility with natural product moieties make this efficient and sustainable reaction practical.
Accurately assessing the health risks of human exposure to heavy metals via water is of great importance for performing targeted health risk prevention measures. To better understand the ...concentration characteristics and potential harm to human health of cadmium, chromium, lead and arsenic in the main drinking water-type reservoirs of Changzhou city, we collected samples from the Haidi Reservoir, Dongjin Reservoir, Xinfushan Reservoir, Maodong Reservoir and Xiangyang Reservoir of Changzhou in the summer of 2019. The results showed that the daily average comprehensive exposure level of metals was much lower than the provisional tolerated daily intake (PTDI), i.e., Cd: 1 µg kg

. The comprehensive non-carcinogenic risk levels of four metals under water-drinking exposure and water-skin exposure routes ranged from 4.68E − 3 to 1.69E − 1, and the carcinogenic risk ranged from 2.09E − 5 to 7.30E − 5, which were all at acceptable risk levels. Although lead and chromium were present at acceptable health risk levels, they still represented the main pollutants of potential health risk in the local water environment from a non-carcinogenic or carcinogenic perspective, and they should be listed as the primary targets for water environmental risk management.
In this study, a multicomponent reaction via the Mannich intermediate was developed using methanol, secondary amine, and sulfonamide as starting materials. This method uses methanol as a green C1 ...source. The substrate scope is wide, and the yield is good. The mechanistic study shows that methanol generates formaldehyde under electrochemical conditions, and sulfonyl amidine as a nucleophile reacts with Schiff base intermediates to form N-sulfonyl amidine in a single step.
Azoles and organoselenium compounds are pharmacologically important scaffolds in medicinal chemistry and natural products. We developed an efficient regioselective electrochemical aminoselenation ...reaction of 1,3-dienes, azoles, and diselenide derivatives to access selenium-containing allylazoles skeletons. This protocol is more economical and environmentally friendly and features a broad substrate scope; pyrazole, triazole, and tetrazolium were all tolerated under the standard conditions, which could be applied to the expedient synthesis of bioactive molecules and in the pharmaceutical industry.
