The main topic of this paper is high-resolution image fusion. The most commonly used image fusion methods that work on the principle of component substitution (intensity-hue-saturation method (This), Brovey transform (BT), and multiplicative method (MULTI)) have been applied to Ikonos, QuickBird, Landsat, and aerial orthophoto images. Visual comparison, histogram analyses, correlation coefficients, and difference images were used in order to analyze the spectral and spatial qualities of the fused images. It was discovered that for preserving spectral characteristics, one needs a high level of similarity between the panchromatic image and the respective multispectral intensity. In order to achieve this; spectral sensitivity of multispectral and panchromatic data was performed, and digital values in individual bands have been modified before fusion. It has also been determined that spatial resolution is best preserved in the event of an unchanged input panchromatic image.
Exact data about the location and area of vacant building land have been a major issue in several Slovene municipalities. This article deals with automatic vacant building land delineation. The ...presented methodology is based on the object-based classification that derives the land cover layer from orthophoto and laser scanning data. With post-processing and data cleaning in GIS, we create the vacant building land layer. The methodology was tested in study areas in the Municipality of Trebnje. The results were compared to the vacant building land layer generated by visual interpretation (manual vectorisation) . We found that the presented methodology of automatic delineation of vacant buildings can speed up the processing and lower the cost of manual vectorisation and, in particular, data updating but we cannot completely replace manual work.
Zaradi iskanja vzrokov za napako so bile vse nadaljnje izstrelitve odložene, in sicer za skoraj pol leta. Ozkokotni instrument ima prostorsko ločljivost 5,0 m v štirih kanalih, ki pokrivajo približno ...isto območje kot vidni in bližnji infrardeči kanali satelitov Landsat in Sentinel-2 (420-520 nm, 535-607 nm, 634-686 nm in 750-960 nm), poleg tega ima pankromatski kanal, s katerim lahko doseže ločljivost 2,5 m. Sirokokotni instrument ima slabšo prostorsko ločljivost, in sicer 40 m. Oba instrumenta lahko snemata tudi video HD z ločljivostjo 1920 x 1080 pikslov, kar je novost na področju opazovanja Zemlje. To potrjujejo prvi posnetki visokoločljive kamere in tudi prvi videoposnetki. bilo izstreljenih več kot 1200 tovrstnih satelitov, najbolj znani med njimi so PlanetScope podjetja Planet, ki s 150 sateliti dnevno posname celotno Zemljo z ločljivostjo približno 4 m. Satelit Trisat sta razvili Univerza v Mariboru in podjetje SkyLabs.
The first countrywide register of illegal dump sites in Slovenia was created in 2010 and 2011. Due to its extensiveness it allows in-depth analyses of factors that affect illegal waste disposal. ...Prior research has already proven the impact of roads on the incidence of illegal dumps, but in this paper we investigate if regional differences significantly influence its expression. We consider the existing landscape typing, which divides Slovenia into 14 landscape-ecological types. We find significant differences between landscape types in the attractiveness of roads for disposal. They are especially pronounced when comparing the attractiveness of individual road categories.
