Starting from the fact that the achieved level of economic development in modern social conditions largely determines the quality of overall social relations, the need to further explain the issue of ...growth and development is logical. The subject of this paper research is the analysis of economic freedom of the Visegrad Group countries, as well as Serbia through innovative and conventional indicators in the period 1995-2020. with the aim of analyzing the data to show how the economies of the countries from group V4 have moved over the decades and what has influenced the improvement or deterioration of the situation in these countries.
The need for insurance dates back from the distant past. A lot of time has passed from the primitive insurance forms to its institutionalization and legal implementation. The modern insurance market, ...regardless of its global character is not equally developed. The unevenness of development is one of its main characteristics, often connected with the achieved level of economic development. Numerous factors influences on the investment activities of insurance companies as the carriers of the insurance market. The subject of this paper will be the examination of the connection of payments of insured sums (damages) on the redistribution of the investment portfolio on the capital market. For this purpose will be formulated two hypotheses, separately for the non-life and life insurance market. Examination of the relationship between the considered variables will be conducted by using SPSS statistical software, ie the Chi-squared test. Regardless of proving the hypotheses will not be possible to draw unique conclusions for both markets.
Investments in tourism are crucial for the development of both tourism and other activities that are directly or indirectly related to it. Despite the immense potential of tourism, the insufficient ...development of infrastructure appears as one of the reasons that diminishes the role of tourism in Serbian economy. It is therefore of great importance to invest in infrastructure development in tourism. The subject of this paper is to compare Serbia with the countries in the region of Western Balkan and with several other European countries (Germany, France, Italy, Austria, and the Netherlands) in terms of the level of capital investments and employment in tourism. The insight into the amounts of investments will show the position and perspective of Serbia in relation to the countries in region and Europe. By adopting the measures of investment policy in tourism and associated incentives, Serbia will create the climate that will increase the amount of capital investments in tourism, which will have a multiplier effect on employment and also the entire economy.
The transformation of ownership, often reminiscent of the earlier historical period of the original accumulation of capital, is an opportunity for the rapid enrichment of those who had a monopoly in ...former socialist societies. At the same time, the redistribution of national wealth encourages changes in the relationship of forces in the social structure of power, which makes privatization the scene of sharp conflicts of interest with controversial consequences for the entire society. Weak institutions of the rule of law cannot limit the aspirations of different interest groups to gain economic power, so privatization is an area of great economic risk. That is why the greatest attention of both the public and specialized non-governmental organizations in the EU candidate countries is devoted to monitoring the privatization process. The paper aims to point out the basic features of the privatization process in Serbia. In this regard, we have analyzed the cause and effect relationships of the economic phenomena associated with this process, that is, we have pointed out the fact that certain legal provisions also contribute to the spread of abuses in this area. The importance of transparency in the privatization process, as an important precondition for economic growth and democratic transformation, was particularly emphasized.
The need for constant control of financial assets and related financial statements is a process that poses significant challenges. They are reflected both in the rules and in the different ...methodological approach whose implementation depends on many factors, primarily on the knowledge and experience of auditors who transfer their knowledge and experience to others. Once adopted, the report must not have elements of rigidity, because possible corrections in the perspective may indicate the shortcomings of the previous ones. In order for the auditor's reports to be adequate, the auditor's communication with the audited entities, i.e. its representatives, must be adequate. The ways of communication and data collection will be discussed in the paper itself. The reliability of the evidence collected by auditors depends on the method of data collection, which will also be one of the issues considered in the paper. The application of various methods of testing internal control depends on the conditions of their application.
Modern countries are characterized by budget deficits that can create significant problems if they are present in the long run. The aim of these countries is to reduce these deficits to the lowest ...possible level or, ultimately, their complete elimination. Increasing public expenditures, on the one hand, accompanied by a reduction in fiscal revenues on the other, has, as a result, triggered some of the forms of nonfiscal resources. Unemployment is a very challenging problem for modern countries, so it takes a significant place in terms of budget spending. For this reason it is imperative to emphasize the policy of stimulating investment, which is the case in the countries of the European Union.
Macroeconomic policy in its development continuously strives to explain the sustainability of links between macroeconomic indicators. The interdependence of the most important indicators such as ...employment and the macroeconomic aggregate of gross domestic product is a constant doubt and a starting point for the formation of all macroeconomic policies. Bringing these indicators together permanently conditions the development of macroeconomic policies of developed and developing countries alike, which indirectly depend on the relations and movements of the macroeconomic aggregates of these countries. The European Union, as a dominant participant in the creation of the foreign trade balance of the Republic of Serbia, is certainly a significant economic factor, whose macroeconomic trends depend on the relations on the domestic market. In this paper, the use of statistical methods in the field of marginal observation of economic phenomena will show the relationship between employment and gross domestic product of the EU Member States.
The subject of this research is the analysis of supply and demand of raspberries on the domestic market in order to performe a balance analysis of products and examine the partial influence of ...relevant factors on supply and demand. The production and consumption of raspberries in Serbia in the period from 2010-2019 is very dynamic. Raspberry production in the Republic of Serbia has significant comparative advantages compared to production in most other countries. Serbia is considered one of the largest producers of raspberries, but still, regardless of that, its comparative advantages have not been fully valorized and used. The results of the balance analysis of raspberry production and consumption indicate the existence of a surplus and potential for export. The analysis of ANOVA variances established a high correlation dependence and pointed out the need to improve competitiveness in the production of raspberries and final products in order to meet the domestic market and exports to the world market. The obtained results enabled the formulation of regression equations of both the function of raspberry supply and its demand, which can be used to predict these values in the future.
