We monitored trends of severe COVID-19 morbidity in Slovenia during weeks 13 to 37 2021. National weekly rates of severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) cases testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 at ...admission in all hospitals varied between 0.2 and 16.3 cases per 100,000 population. Of those without previous COVID-19 diagnosis, SARI COVID-19 admission rates ranged between 0.3 and 17.5 per 100,000 unvaccinated, and 0.0 and 7.3 per 100,000 fully vaccinated individuals. National SARI COVID-19 surveillance is essential in informing COVID-19 response.
Pridobljene podatke smo opisno analizirali. Izračunane so bile frekvence, odstotek, preizkus χ2 z razmerjem verjetij.
Rezultati: Med seminarji obstajajo statistično pomembne razlike v kakovosti gradiv (χ2 = 34,082, p 0,018). V zvezi z vsebinami obstajajo statistično pomembne razlike v izpolnitvi pričakovanj udeležencev glede na starost v skupini od 31 do 40 let (χ2 = 9,735, p > 0,021).
Diskusija in zaključek: Udeleženci so imeli visok nivo zadovoljstva z organizacijo, izborom tem in vsebinami. Izboljšave so potrebne pri pripravi gradiv, pri izboru kompetentnih predavateljev in v trajanju delavnic.
The model for optimizing nursing care organization in psychiatric institutions enables us to compose teams in a way that will meet the requirements of the work process in any given situation, thus ...yielding quality for patients, employees and institutions (lower time consumption for preparing work schedules and performing supervision, reduced number of everyday interventions by managers, etc.). Rotation model will be presented, which contributes to optimizing human resource capacity of health care. Therefore, the staff rotation model is a good start and contributes to the development of managerial practices that will be focused on ensuring a suitable work environment and appropriate work conditions while promoting good work relationships between the managerial staff and the employees and ensuring employee health and work satisfaction. Employees want rotation as an instrument of equalizing workload and workplace requirements. This indeed reflects the basic quality of developing approaches to staff assignment practices. The following areas constitute the optimization conditions: The kinds of teams which are needed at individual wards (size, number of hours to be worked, etc.); The positions in individual teams which are already occupied by people who remained within the department and at the same workplace over the entire period in question and were never reassigned elsewhere; The number of people in each individual team and their roles (leader, deputy, etc.); The name list of the assigned employees and their capabilities calculated by linear program according to Belbin team roles indicator. The project approach to the optimization of nursing care teams is determined on the basis of the above-mentioned key conditions. The process of optimizing staff assignment to teams consists of ten general modules which represent several managerial activities in the optimization of work processes.
Given the rapid advancement of knowledge and changing population needs, continuing education is essential to safe and effective nursing care. Continuing education enhances better employee ...productivity, flexibility, nursing outcomes, quality of treatment, and satisfaction of patients, relatives and nursing employees. The aim of the study was to determine the participants perception of seminars and to develop guidelines and suggestions for future work. A quantitative survey was conducted in 2014. The participants (n = 242) were requested to fill in a questionnaire on the day the seminar was held. The questionnaire was divided into four sections evaluating the event (place, time, topic, publicity, registration, organization and material); the seminar content and the lecturers; the length of lectures, workshops, and discussions, the respondents. appraisal of lectures. The data collected were analyzed descriptively. The frequency, percentage, x^sup 2^ test with likelihood ratio were calculated. Statistically significant differences were established in the quality of materials assessment (x^sup 2^ = 34.082, p < 0.0001) and the level of participant satisfaction with the lecturers (x^sup 2^ = 32.705, p < 0.0001). Different results were obtained among participants with university education regarding the seminar content (x^sup 2^ = 10.081, p > 0.018). Statistically significant differences were identified regarding the fulfillment of participants' expectations in the age group 31 to 40 years (x^sup 2^ = 9.735, p > 0.021). Discussion and conclusion: The respondents expressed a high level of satisfaction with the organization, the choice of topics and seminar content. The survey results also indicate that more attention should paid to the preparation of study materials, the choice of competent lecturers and the duration of workshops.
The author first discusses the features of mental health & those of mental problems, particularly in children. She outlines the emotional experiences of children with anorexia & the emotional work of ...the nurses who work at the department for eating disorders. Next, she investigates the presence or inclusion of emotional work in the treatment of anorexic patients. The results of a survey among the nurses who work with the anorexic patients show that the work is emotionally very demanding & generally agree with expectations. 18 References.
