The article is aimed at studying the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economies of the countries of the world. The main consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for the economy are considered. It ...is noted that the outbreak of the pandemic has become one of the most serious threats to the world economy and financial markets. It is determined that concerns about the impact of the pandemic on the world economy have shaken markets around the world, in particular, stock prices and bond yields have fallen sharply. The main consequences of the pandemic for the world economy are currently the following: the fall in exchange indices; significant decline in oil prices and slowing development of the metals market; reduction of production; significant decrease in revenues of airlines and maritime transport, shopping and entertainment centers, tourism industry; decrease in incomes of the population; growth of profits of the pharmaceutical industry and the global gaming, educational and other online applications industry; increased investor demand for less risky assets. In such a situation the paces of the economic growth of both the majority of countries and the world economy in general at the present time are slowed down. This situation demonstrates the need to make informed decisions by the governments of the world and local authorities, which, in close cooperation with leading experts, the corporate sector and the population, should implement an effective socio-economic policy both in the context of lock-down and in the subsequent months after its completion. The main possible methods of mitigating the effects of the pandemic on the economies of developing countries are considered. Recommendations on possible measures aimed at reducing the impact of the pandemic on the economies of countries in the global dimension are presented. Prospects for further research are to analyze the economic consequences of lock-down, losses of the world economy after overcoming coronavirus disease and real measures that have been taken to stabilize the financial and economic situation at both the micro and macro levels.
The article is aimed at researching the current state of the leasing services market in Ukraine, identifying problems and prospects for its further development. It is defined that leasing is a very ...promising direction of economic activity, which facilitates the improvement of financial conditions in the country. The article considers the peculiarities of foreign experience in leasing activities and the functioning of the global leasing market. The indicators on the state and development of financial companies and lessors in Ukraine are analyzed, which leads to a conclusion about their positive dynamics. It is determined that today the level of leasing use in Ukraine remains low and is in the process of development, so it requires detailed consideration and analysis. The advantages of financial leasing as an investment instrument, as well as problems and obstacles that slow down the development of leasing activities in Ukraine are presented. Given that leasing activity in Ukraine is under development, there are many urgent problems, which include: imperfection of Ukrainian legislation; the unformedness at the national level of leasing development policy; stiff system of taxation of leasing operations; low demand for domestic goods; low solvency of all categories of consumers; poorly developed subleasing; non-compliance with international standards; low financial stability of lessors; dependence of leasing companies on credit funds from banks; vague regulation on the part of the State, etc. Methods of problem solving are provided that will contribute to improving the functioning of leasing activities and stimulating its development. It is defined that in order to use financial leasing as an innovative instrument for modernizing the country's economy, provision of the State support is necessary.
Matrix metalloproteinase-10 (MMP-10) is expressed by macrophages and epithelium in response to injury, but its functions in wound repair are unknown. We observed increased collagen deposition and ...skin stiffness in Mmp10−/− wounds, with no difference in collagen expression or reepithelialization. Increased collagen deposition in Mmp10−/− wounds was accompanied by less collagenolytic activity and reduced expression of specific metallocollagenases, particularly MMP-8 and MMP-13, where MMP-13 was the key collagenase. Ablation and adoptive transfer approaches and cell-based models demonstrated that the MMP-10-dependent collagenolytic activity was a product of alternatively activated (M2) resident macrophages. These data demonstrate a critical role for macrophage MMP-10 in controlling the tissue remodeling activity of macrophages and moderating scar formation during wound repair.
The integration of digital technologies in the financial industry holds significant promise for enhancing the effectiveness and availability of financial services. However, it is also confronted with ...various financial and organisational limitations that must be resolved. The objective of this study is to examine the financial and organisational limitations that occur during the implementation of digital technologies in financial management. In order to accomplish this objective, various techniques such as analysis, synthesis, generalisation, systematisation, and statistical methods were employed. The study revealed that the implementation of digital technologies in the financial sector encounters substantial obstacles and constraints. An inherent challenge arises from the incongruity between emerging digital technologies and antiquated traditional management models, resulting in deficiencies and vulnerabilities in organisational management. The study emphasises the significance of organisations modifying their management models in order to achieve optimal utilisation of digital tools. The findings also demonstrate the significance of organisational elements such as culture, competencies, digital resources, senior management support, and organisational structure in shaping choices to embrace and execute digital technologies. Thus, the study helps to solve current issues related to the introduction of digital technologies in the financial sector and contributes to improving its efficiency and sustainability. The practical significance of the study is to increase the understanding of financial and organisational constraints that arise during the introduction of digital technologies in financial management and to contribute to the development of more effective approaches to digital financial management
The seismic activity assessment on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and in adjacent areas in 2008-2018 was performed. As the main materials for the study, the literary data on seismic activity ...on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and in adjacent areas for the period 2008-2018 were used. The collected materials were generalized and systematized by the authors from a unified methodological position, which allowed a reliable enough estimate of the space-time division of earthquakes in the studied region. The seismic events' activity on the territory of the Crimean-Black Sea region in the period 2008-2018 is analyzed. On average, about 95 earthquakes annually occurred in the region during this period. The results of a comparative analysis of the earthquakes distribution in the region areas are presented. It is shown that most of the seismic events were recorded in the Yalta and Kerch-Anapa regions. Quite a lot of seismic activity was also observed in Alushta. The largest number of earthquakes occurred with the energy class кr =6-8 (73,5%), to the seismic events share with кr =10-13 accounted for 6.3%. In 2009 and 2014 an increase in seismic events with an energy class кr =5 was noted. The presence of any stable trend in the quantity and energy class of earthquakes that occurred during the studied period of time was not detected. The analysis made it possible to evaluate seismic activity in the territory of the Republic of Crimea and in adjacent areas for 2009-2018 and show the temporary changes that occurred in the number of recorded earthquakes, their distribution by the region and energy class.

Mechanical and drug treatment of the root canal are the most important components of the success of endodontic treatment. This work presents the results on the effectiveness of the root canal ...disinfection using an erbium laser in combination with a 17% solution of ethylene diaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) in vitro and in clinical studies. An in vitro study was carried out on removed intact teeth infected with strains of Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus sanguinis, and Candida albicans. An experimental group of teeth was treated medically according to a standard protocol using 3% solution of sodium hypochlorite and 17% solution of EDTA followed by irradiation with erbium laser. The control group was treated similarly but without laser irradiation. The treatment effectiveness was evaluated by the reduction of CFU. After the treatment, in the control group after the mechanical and drug treatment, the CFU amount lowered by 4 times, while the complete sterilization was observed in the experimental group. The clinical studies included two groups of 35 patients each diagnosed with chronic periodontitis. In the experimental group of patients, at the final stage, treatment with erbium laser for 1 min using endodontic piece (40 mJ power, 2940 nm wavelength, 10 Hz pulse rate) and a 17% EDTA solution was performed before filling. Periodontitis treatment in the control group was carried out without the laser treatment. The control group of patients saw the reduction on CFU after the mechanical and drug treatment by 3–6 times, while the experimental group achieved the complete sterilization of the root canals. The obtained results prove that the modification of the root canal treatment by the inclusion of erbium laser irradiation is a promising direction in endodontics.
