In this paper, we generalize some results of Wardowski (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2012:94, 2012), Cosentino and Vetro (Filomat 28:4, 2014), and Piri and Kumam (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2014:210, 2014) ...theories by applying some weaker symmetrical conditions on the self map of a complete metric space and on the mapping F, concerning the contractions defined by Wardowski.
In the paper, we show that some results related to Reich and Chatterjea type nonexpansive mappings are still valid if we relax or remove some hypotheses.

To reduce the incidence of total hip revisions, there have been continuous efforts to enhance prosthetic materials and designs to optimize implant survival. A primary implant with a constrained ...acetabular component is often used to minimize the risk of dislocations even though this approach has some drawbacks as reported in the literature. To address these concerns, this study aimed to assess the survivorship and dislocation rate of a semi-retentive cemented acetabular cup when used as a primary implant. The specific cemented cup that we studied was not present in any study that we consulted, so to fill this gap, we conducted a retrospective examination of 527 cemented hip prostheses that utilized the semi-retentive cup between the years 2005 and 2012. We employed Cox multiple regression models for our statistical analysis. The revision due to dislocation occurred in 12.8% of all cases, with a lower incidence of 5% (14 cases) in age groups >70 years than in age groups <70 years (14%-32 cases) (
< 0.001). The survival rates of the semi-retentive cemented acetabular cup were 98.6% (520 cases) at 5 years and 92.2% (487 cases) at 10 years. The survival rates were significantly lower in women than men, with 1.9% (7 cases) toward 0% at 5 years and 8.1% (30 cases) toward 5% (7 cases) at 10 years (
= 0.002). The difference in failure rates between age groups over 70 years (2.3%-10 cases) and age groups under 70 years (11.5%-34 cases) was also statistically significant (
< 0.001). Our study indicates that the semi-constrained design may cause frequent damage to the polyethylene liner due to impingement and wear, which are the primary factors for failure. Also, this implant has a similar risk of revision due to dislocation as reported in studies and may be beneficial as a primary implant in elderly patients with low-demanding lifestyles, muscular insufficiency, and low compliance regarding hip prosthetic behavior, without a major effect on survivorship.

The point that innovation is an important milestone of sustainability is widely accepted among scholars, industry agents, and government representatives. This is due to the fact that sustainable ...development is an urgent issue that requires immediate action and transformation by government, industry, and society as a whole perspective. This paper reviews the literature on innovations that transform individuals, organizations, supply chains, and communities toward a sustainable future. This paper reviews the literature on innovations that will transform individuals, organizations, supply chains, and communities toward a sustainable future. The major studies discussed in this review encouraged in their findings, recommendations, and contributions as we are facing in moving forward toward a sustainable society through innovation and transformation Moreover, this article reviews the diversity of the literature on innovation for sustainable development and proposes a typology of such phenomena. The proposed typology of such phenomena is followed by an overview of the major debates, based on the main subjects it addresses. The point that innovation is a key statement of sustainability is widely accepted by scientists, industry professionals and government representatives. This aspect is possible only by creating sustainable development, which requires constant action and urgent solutions from governments, industry and society. Furthermore, this article emphasizes the diversity of innovation for sustainable development in the literature, proposes a typology of such phenomenon, provides an overview of key articles based on the primary topics it addresses, and identifies a number of recommendations for the future development of the main field of study.
The present paper advances a new understanding of Fyodor Dostoevsky's first novel, Poor Folk (1846), - as a parody of literary patterns promoted by Natural School's ideology. Dostoevsky builds his ...text on an underlying network of literary conventions, artistic devices, and intertextual references, used in a parodic manner. in addition, the novel makes use of a complex narratological strategy, in which the two characters play several roles simultaneously. All this turns the text into a literary experiment, intended by the young Dostoevsky to define his original contribution to the Russian literary tradition, in an overt dialogue with Aleksandr Pushkin and Nikolay Gogol. More specifically, it is the revival of the epistolary genre that allows Dostoevsky to engage in a dialog with his two predecessors. Therefore, Dostoevsky's debut novel should not be seen as a simple literary exercise, but, rather, as the assertion of its author's artistic individuality in the context of the literary tradition.
