The intensive development and spread of digital technologies in recent years has significantly changed the face of key sectors of the economy and the social sphere. More and more organizations are ...seeking to transfer business processes to the digital environment, thereby significantly reducing transaction costs and significantly increasing the volume of economic activity. A giant, virtually barrier-free, market is emerging on the Internet with truly global competition and very high dynamics of all its elements (companies, products and services, consumers). Under such conditions, the ability to process and analyze large amounts of data becomes an important factor in competitive advantage. The sustainability and prospects for business development are determined by the ability to respond to changing customer needs many times faster than even some 20-30 years ago and quickly bring new products and services to the market through electronic sales channels. Today, the market value of many companies is largely determined by “digital assets” (the size and loyalty of the Internet audience, brand awareness and reputation in cyberspace, etc.).
The current state of the economy and society is characterized by the beginning of intensive development and use of digital technologies. They create a new reality, make changes in the life of ...society, company principles, decision-making methods and relations with the environment. Under their influence, the processes taking place in the economic, industrial and transport spheres are radically changing. Inversion indicators in different countries, regions, companies and industries are characterized by different results, sometimes negative. Digital technologies are fundamentally changing transport networks and their importance for the economic development of the territory. With a variety of existing works on the problems of transformation and digitalization of economic sectors, the implementation of these processes at the level of subjects of the real sector of the economy and the transport industry remains insufficiently developed. The purpose of the work is to consider the main aspects of digital transformation in the sectors of the real sector and transport and to determine the opportunities and prospects for the digitalization of enterprises in the economy. The scientific novelty lies in the development of tools that allow the digitalization of production processes and, on this basis, increase the efficiency of the entire enterprise. In the new economic conditions, digital transformation will allow business entities to diversify their activities, increase competitiveness and strengthen their positions in the market.
Digital technologies cover an increasing number of areas of life, and therefore the digital revolution has a great impact on the economy both globally and nationally. An increasing number of digital ...companies are emerging in sectors of the economy using their own new business models and business processes, which distinguishes them from other market players and provides new competitive advantages. In this context, the survival of long-established companies in the market depends on factors such as the willingness to adapt to new models of customer relationships, change the production and value chain, and redefine their relationships with all stakeholders, introducing new technologies into these processes and creating its own innovative products and tools for business optimization. Innovation and new business models driven by the digital transformation of the economy can directly drive long-term growth and help address resource constraints.
The expansion of the bioeconomy is driven by integration strategies that come in various forms. Natural integration is characterized by businesses combining forces and establishing diverse ...organizational interactions such as conglomerates, multinational corporations, cartels, and other structures. Conversely, disintegration and quasi-integration lead to the disaggregation of businesses and the formation of more formal associations, often with the aim of obtaining control rather than ownership of these business entities. An illustrative example of quasi-integration is the concept of enterprise clusters, which represent a collective of geographically connected and interrelated companies sharing common objectives and strategies. While the benefits of companies participating in these clusters were apparent at the end of the 20th century, it is increasingly evident in the early 21st century that the ways companies interact within these clusters are evolving into new hybrid forms, and the clusters themselves can undergo various transformations in a relatively short period.
In recent years, the topic of digital transformation has become increasingly relevant for most Russian companies that include issues of digitalization of business processes in their strategic ...development agenda. Currently, digital transformation has become a sought-after tool for creating business conditions adequate to the COVID-19 pandemic; achieving sustainable development of the company in conditions of uncertainty; reducing the cost of developing new products and the time of their introduction to the market; implementation of modern approaches to the formation of new qualities of the company and its compliance with the trend of constant acceleration of scientific and technological progress. Russian companies have realized the importance and advantages of digital transformation: the number of companies implementing a systematic approach to digital transformation and implementing them within the framework of a special strategy has doubled over the past two years. The logical consequence is the growth of digital maturity of companies. The article systematizes global trends in the spread of digital technologies in the field of agriculture. Based on statistical observation data, quantitative results of the use of digital technologies in agriculture are presented. The purpose of this article is to identify the problem of low use of digital technology in agriculture. The current state of the use of digital technologies in this industry is shown, as well as recommendations on measures to support the digital transformation of industry in the current conditions are given.
“Turn to nature” and the inextricable connection between nature and man, ensuring the well-being, security and development of the latter, should become an integral element of Russian identity and ...national idea, its mission for itself and for the world. The concepts of “nature” and the Motherland should become inseparable. At the same time, the inseparable connection between the protection of nature and human well-being, the development of human capital can become one of the most important tools for the internal consolidation of the country, an idea that unites the elite (regardless of political preferences) and society.
Climate change, ozone depletion, water, air and soil pollution, deforestation, desertification, depletion of fisheries, waste accumulation and loss of biodiversity are becoming a growing barrier to ...economic development and an increasingly important security threat, especially for developing countries. And in some cases even a threat to the existence of all mankind. During the coronavirus pandemic, the anthropogenic pressure on the environment has slightly decreased. However, there was no significant cleansing of nature. After the end of the first wave of restrictions, air pollution quickly returned to its previous level. The amount of plastic pollution in the world has only increased. At the end of 2020, CO2 emissions decreased by about 7%. Since the source of climate change is not the volume of annual emissions per se, but their concentration, which simply increased slightly less in 2020, the pandemic will only minimally slow down the process of temperature increase.

The social and economic development of the territories includes the existence of stable interregional food and commodity linkages, the formation of a food economy, an increase in food resources ...conducive to the development of the AIC and the entire economic system. Digitalization and the implementation of information technologies ensure high-quality information content of all subdivisions of the AIC, enable optimization of the flow of resources and goods within the complex, leading to facilitate the task of transforming the agro-industrial complex of Russia, further “effective and sustainable agro-industrial production that corresponds to the world level ensuring the country’s food security, the saturation of the market with food” 4. An effective mechanism for the regional innovative economy management is, in our view, the complex establishment of a high-quality information base, the development of information technology networks to transcend traditional technologies. The success in the transition to the modern stage of the digital economy in the AIC prejudges the growing importance of the of the country, its regions and individual industries in the formation of a single information field. The federal policy policy is directed at creation of new information technologies and communication channels throughout Russia and all over the world. The regional policy in the field of information should be based on the interests of the regional users and the general federal interests of a group of industries located in the region. The sectoral policy in the field of information should take into account the interests of one industry, as well as enterprises and organizations within the structure of this industry.
