The article describes the waveform monitoring complex of the linear induction accelerator designed for radiographic experiments. The equipment of the complex allows recording waveforms of hundreds of ...pulsed signals with duration of tens of nanoseconds to tens of milliseconds, which provides comprehensive information on the operation of the accelerator. The article addresses a wide range of issues: architecture of the waveform monitoring complex, types of primary sensors, techniques of analog signal transmission with low distortion, hardware, software, and methods of data processing.

A significant need for reliable and accurate cancer diagnostics and prognosis compels the search for novel biomarkers that would be able to discriminate between indolent and aggressive tumors at the ...early stages of disease. The aim of this work was identification of potential diagnostic biomarkers for characterization of different types of prostate tumors. NotI-microarrays with 180 clones associated with chromosome 3 genes/loci were applied to determine genetic and epigenetic alterations in 33 prostate tumors. For 88 clones, aberrations were detected in more than 10% of tumors. The major types of alterations were DNA methylation and/or deletions. Frequent methylation of the discovered loci was confirmed by bisulfite sequencing on selective sampling of genes: FGF12, GATA2, and LMCD1. Three genes (BHLHE40, BCL6, and ITGA9) were tested for expression level alterations using qPCR, and downregulation associated with hypermethylation was shown in the majority of tumors. Based on these data, we proposed the set of potential biomarkers for detection of prostate cancer and discrimination between prostate tumors with different malignancy and aggressiveness: BHLHE40, FOXP1, LOC285205, ITGA9, CTDSPL, FGF12, LOC440944/SETD5, VHL, CLCN2, OSBPL10/ZNF860, LMCD1, FAM19A4, CAND2, MAP4, KY, and LRRC58. Moreover, we probabilistically estimated putative functional relations between the genes within each set using the network enrichment analysis.
The expediency of developing expressions for mutual inductance of rectangular and square coplanar contours is caused by configuration of frame antennas typical for RFID-technologies. Expressions ...presented in this article are aimed at simplifying calculation of induction coefficients when designing loop antennas. Expressions for mutual inductance of rectangular coplanar contours with symmetrical internal arrangement are obtained on the basis of the method of sections. It is shown that under certain conditions the expressions obtained can be reduced to intrinsic inductances of the square and rectangular frames encountered in antenna configurations. The analysis allows to estimate regions of resonance frequencies of frame receiving antennas. Simultaneously, a comparative analysis of a number of expressions for the intrinsic inductance of rectangular and square frames is performed, and attention is drawn to the difference in estimates. Recommendations for clarifying square contour external inductance are provided.
The cross section of the process e + e − → π + π − has been measured in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.32 to 1.2 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the electron-positron collider VEPP-2000. The ...measurement is based on an integrated luminosity of about 88 pb − 1 , of which 62 pb − 1 represent a complete dataset collected by CMD-3 at center-of-mass energies below 1 GeV. In the dominant region near the ρ resonance a systematic uncertainty of 0.7% was achieved. The implications of the presented results for the evaluation of the hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon are discussed. Published by the American Physical Society 2024

The original measuring system and method of temperature fields measuring of integrated circuits chips for controlling of thermal resistance between a chip and its case under production conditions is ...presented. The infrared system allows temperature measuring over the range (40-150)°C, and also allows to spot small gains of IC chips temperature around 1°C. The developed system based on infrared microbolometric matrix and allows controlling of integrated circuits chips temperature fields with the high spatial resolution up to 15 microns.

In pediatric practice, epilepsy holds one of the leading places among neurological pathologies. Along with seizures, a child's intellectual impairment lowering quality of life plays a crucial role in ...social disintegration. Cognitive impairments occuring in idiopathic generalized epilepsies (IGE) and self-limited epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes (SeLECTS) considered benign have been widely investigated. However, available data suggest that such disorders result in multiple persistent alterations in the cognitive sphere. In this case, features of the epilepsy etiopathogenesis account for disease early onset and profoundly remodeled structures involved in the implementation of cognitive functions. Current review is aimed to summarizing data regarding developmental mechanisms and range of cognitive impairment in IGE and SeLECTS.

This paper reports a current status of the measurements of the hadronic cross sections in the c.m. energy range from 0.32 to 2.0 GeV with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 electron-positron ...collider. The overall size of the data, acquired by the CMD-3 in the runs of 2010–2013 and 2017–2018 years, is about 160 pb−1. The results of data analysis for various exclusive modes of e+e−→hadrons are described.
