In the article in question, we deal with selected issues related to employment relations in the civil service. We point out the hybrid (dual) nature of the subject of these relations; when the work ...side is regulated by the norms of labour law, the functional side is regulated by the norms of administrative law. We note that the rights and obligations of the subjects of these relationships are aimed at implementing the work process and the realization of the power functions of the state, i.e. at the immediate implementation of state power. We present employee relations in the civil service as relations of a public law nature, which have some characteristic features typical for relations in the field of public law. Regarding the method of legal regulation of these relations, we take the position that these relations are characterized by a combination of methods of legal regulation. Considering the legal nature of these relationships, we consider it justified by the legislative separation of these relationships from other employment relationships subject to the general labour law regime. This article analyzes the involvement of the institute of Public and State Service in achieving sustainable development goals and discusses the possibilities of managing sustainable development processes. Based on research, the authors proposed de lege ferenda for more effective legislation in public administration for sustainable growth of the Slovak Republic.
The purpose of the study is to develop and test in practice the method of analyzing the relationship between the formation of internally generated goodwill and investment attractiveness of an ...enterprise based on econometric modeling in order to improve the investment management process. Attracting additional investments, both for Slovakia and Ukraine, requires the identification of promising objects of investment. Assessment of enterprise’s potential cannot be accurately performed on the base of financial statements, which reflect only the state of assets. It is necessary to take into account the prospects for development of this business unit in the future, that largely depends on effective functioning of management system. The success of business processes depends on how rationally managers use the resources of the enterprise and form the structure of assets adequate to the demands of the market. The article considers the problem of estimating the value of enterprises in order to attract investments based on internally generated goodwill, and determines the peculiarities of the formation and types of goodwill of a commercial enterprise. As the main research method, canonical correlation modelling was used to analyze data of Ukrainian machine-building enterprises for the period 2017–2020. As a result, the factors responsible for the formation of internally generated goodwill were identified and classified according to their economic nature. Correlation dependencies between groups of initial and resulting coefficients were calculated and the areas of enterprise management that have the greatest impact on the formation of its market value were identified.
The study aims to investigate the characteristics of socio-economic development in the context of countries’ tourism advancement. The paper analyzes the Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) and ...the Happiness Rating (HR). The sample covers data from 102 countries for the year 2021. The analysis showed that there are differences in the relationships between TTDI and HR, as well as their sub-indices, among groups of countries distributed according to income level. The research methodology includes the use of such methods as correlation analysis to determine the relationships between indicators like factor analysis to identify the degree of indicators' influence on the sample and a graphical method to visualise the analysis results. The study uses the World Bank approach to classify countries into income groups. The study confirms that a country's welfare level is one factor that determines patterns in various areas, including tourism.
The sustainable growth of the Slovak Republic can only be ensured by a properly and effectively functioning public administration. In the current challenging extraordinary conditions (in the context ...of epidemiological, economic, financial, and sociological considerations), public power must be more efficient than ever and the management of public finances - economical, efficient, effective, and effective. Therefore, the aim of this scientific article was to carry out scientific research on the terminus technicus "public administration", to analyze the position of the most important institutions (their goals, tasks, functions, and responsibilities). The authors researched the following partial areas: mainly the pillars of efficient and proper functioning of public administration in the Slovak Republic to ensure sustainable growth; managerial foundations for the effective functioning of public administration; the legal status of public administration entities (and their responsibilities); primary goals, tasks, and tools of state administration bodies in the Slovak Republic and control in public administration. Base on research, the authors proposed de lege ferenda for more effective legislation in public administration for sustainable growth of Slovak Republic.
Ensuring sustainable growth of the Slovak Republic is not possible without effective state investment policy. The most important pillar of the analysis by investors is protection (guaranties, ...insurance) of investments. The research was based on analysis of main protection institutes of investments in Slovak Republic and member states of the European Union for example: multilateral and bilateral treaties on protection of investments, fair equitable treatment, full protection and security, non-discrimination standards, national fonds guarantying investments, government guaranties and international, european and national legislation on investments, protection of investments by arbitration courts. Chosen decision of courts were subjects of analysis, their interpretation and common consent of their application. Base on research, the author proposed de lege ferenda for more effective legislation in investments and sustainable economic growth.
