The Institute of Geodesy and Mine Surveying of the Technical University of Ostrava performs long-term monitoring works and evaluates the effects of undermining in the Ostrava-Karviná coal-field, a ...major industrial conurbation in the north-east of the Czech Republic. Local extraction of bituminous coal has had significant effects on the surface relief. Actual undermining effects are monitored on selected built objects on a regular basis. Some of them are public buildings, roads, listed historic monuments, and buildings of cultural or historic value. Damage to the buildings, etc. can be eliminated to some extent by prudent planning of extraction works in space and time and by applying appropriate protective measures.
Listed buildings and objects of general and historic value located in the Ostrava-Karvina Coal Basin were significantly affectedby mining during the coal extraction era. Most of the buildings show ...damage while some of them have been renovated and others stillwait for their turn. The essential aim of photogrammetric surveying is to define the geometric shape and create the visualizationsof objects. Photogrammetric documentation of the current building condition can be used for renovation planning or for advertisingpurposes.

Čekijos Ostravos technikos universiteto Geodezijos ir kadastro institutas atlieka ilgalaikius stebėsenos darbus ir kalnakasybos įtakos vertinimą Ostravos-Karvinos anglių baseine (Čekijos šiaurės rytų pramonės branduolys). Lokali bituminių anglių gavyba lemia didelę įtaką žemės paviršiaus reljefui. Kalnakasybos įtaka reguliariai stebima stebėjimo objektais pasirinkus tam tikrus statinius. Tai viešieji pastatai, keliai, istoriniai paminklai ir reikšmingi istoriniai ar kultūriniai statiniai. Statinių pažeidimų galima išvengti apdairiai planuojant (erdvės ir laiko požiūriu) kalnakasybos darbus bei taikant tinkamas apsaugos priemones.

Институт геодезии и маркшейдерии Остравского технического университета выполняет долгосроч ные работы по мониторингу и оценке последствий горнодобывающей промышленности в Остравско-Карвинском угольном бассейне, являющимся основным промышленным предприятием в северо-восточной части Чехии. Локальная добыча битумных углей в большой степени влияет на рельеф поверхности земли. Влияние горнодобычи регулярно исследуется на некоторых строениях – общественных зданиях, дорогах, исторических памятниках, важных исторических и культурных сооружениях. Повреждения зданий и сооружений можно предотвратить, если планировать горнодобывающие работы с учетом места, времени, а также предпринимая необходимые меры защиты.
The instability of slopes influents mining business in many aspects at opencast mining. The temporary decrease of intended mined volumes due to landslips is common and sometimes there is necessary to ...change origin-mining plans. It has impact to economy and other essential costs for rehabilitation are required. In case of definitive slopes formation in contact to traffic and communication networks, watercourses and infrastructures of seats stability of slope security there is even more important. Monitoring of rock massive stability plays an important role.Everything which stability of slopes is concerned belongs to essential tasks for mining technicians at opencast mining. The article explains what ways for definitive slope formation near mining boundary were selected at Severočeské doly j.s.c., Doly Nástup Tušimice mining site. The precautions refer to mining technology, preventive and reconstruction precautions for stabilization of slopes must to solve, are to described. Tasks, which mining engineers, surveyors, geologists and geotechnics have to solve are described.
