This study aims to analyze the students’ difficulties of MTs Negeri Surakarta 1 in solving story based problems on the subject of Pythagoras along with its alternative solutions. This is a ...qualitative descriptive research. This study illustrates the difficulties of students in solving story based problemsof the subject of Pythagoras. Research subjects in this study is composed of three students of class IX with each capable of high, medium and low. The data collection was condducted using the test method and the method of interview. The results of this study indicate that low-ability students have difficulty in determining the direction of wind direction, understand the intent of the language that is understood about the story, the difficulty in making a mathematical model as well as difficulties in the calculation. Difficulties experienced by the studentswith medium capability are determining the drawing of wind direction, understanding the intent of the language that is understood about the story, and making a mathematical model. While the high-ability students have no significant problems in understanding a story about the subject of Pythagoras, they just forgot to add ± sign in the answers, and the unit of length in the final calculation. However, the unit length was written in the final conclusions.

The demands of professional teachers to design technology-assisted learning that can facilitate all students to develop their potential. the fact that the quality of students' adaptive reasoning in ...solving math problems is still low which has an impact on other mathematical competencies. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the improvement of adaptive reasoning abilities between students who have implemented Search Solving Create and Share learning assisted with Microsoft Mathematics and conventional learning. The method used is quasi-experimental with the non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. Through the Simple Random Sampling technique, two classes were selected, namely class X1 and X2 one of the SMA in Bandung Indonesia. Test instrument: story questions about adaptive reasoning abilities. Analysis using independent T-test data. Result: There is a difference in the improvement in adaptive reasoning abilities between students who using search-solve-create- share learning assisted by Microsoft mathematics compared to conventional learning. Students' difficulties in solving story problems with adaptive reasoning abilities can be minimized by getting used to solving non-routine story problems. Learning search-solve-create-share assisted by Microsoft mathematics accustoms students to convey assumptions, provide reasons for answers, draw conclusions from statements, and students can find patterns of various mathematical problems through multi-interactive media.
The purpose of this study was to determine the online-based learning strategy in the form of variables to consider in online learning, the role of parents in online learning, government policies in ...online learning during the new normal period, and evaluation of online learning in the form of student attitudes towards online learning in the new normal period. The research method is literature study and survey by distributing questionnaires. The population of students at two Senior High Schools in Bandung Regency, the sample of students who filled out the google form amounted to 740 students at two Senior High Schools in Bandung Regency. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire distributed via the google form application. The results show that several important points are needed in online-based learning as follows: it is necessary to pay attention to variables in online learning, the role of parents, government policies, and the results of the evaluation of online mathematics learning from students.
The pre-research data of mathematics prospective teachers in one of the universities in Bandung showed that the deductive reasoning ability in complex analysis was still not at good level. Beside the ...cognitive aspect, the affective aspect could be considered too in doing learning process, such as mathematical resilience. This study aims to analyze and identify the correlation between deductive reasoning and mathematical resilience in complex analysis. The research was conducted in one of the mathematics education departments of a university in Bandung. Correlation was the method used in this study. Mathematics prospective teachers were the sample of this research. This study concluded that mathematical deductive reasoning of prospective teachers was on a moderate level, the mathematical resilience of prospective teachers was on the positive category, and there was a significant correlation between deductive reasoning and the mathematical resilience of prospective teachers on a moderate level. After teaching intern at SMP Negeri 31 Bandung, Bandung, West Java, (2) analyze the feasibility of Powtoon-based animated video media on the material of the two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) at SMP Negeri 31 Bandung, and (3) see student responses in the use of Powtoon-based animated videos on two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) materials at SMP Negeri 31 Bandung. The research method used is RND with ADDIE development model (analysis; design, development, implementation, evaluation). The research instruments used are interview sheets, material expert validation questionnaires, media experts and subject experts, and student responses. Abstract : Basic Mathematics is one of the subjects that must be taken by students of Islamic Education Management Studies Program of first semester in UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Most graduates ...of students who enter the Islamic Education Management Studies Program is a graduate of SMK or SMA majoring in social studies. Therefore, the researcher applies an escapitory method to teach Basic Mathematics courses in MPI. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of expository methods in the basic mathematics courses in Islamic education management program. The population in this study is the students of Islamic education management study semester one with the sampling taken with purposive sampling technique so that the sample obtained one class that is class A which amounted to 39 students. The research method used is pseudo experiment. Data collection techniques using pretest and postest. The assumption test includes the data normality test using the Liilefors test. Data analysis using Wilcoxon test. Based on the Wilcoxon test output it is known that Asymp Sig (2-tailed) is worth 0.000. Because the value 0.000 <0.05 then it can be interpreted that there is a difference between the basic mathematics skills test before the students were given the expository method. The result of the research shows that there is influence of expository method in the elementary mathematics course in Islamic education management student. Kebanyakan lulusan mahasiswa yang masuk ke Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam merupakan lulusan SMK atau SMA jurusan IPS. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menerapkan metode eskpositori untuk mengajarkan mata kuliah Matematika Dasar di MPI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode ekspositori pada mata kuliah Matematika Dasar di Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa prodi manajemen pendidikan islam semester satu dengan pengambilan sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel satu kelas yaitu kelas A yang berjumlah 39 mahasiswa.Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperiment semu. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Uji asumsi meliputi uji normalitas data dengan menggunakan uji Liilefors. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan output uji Wilcoxon diketahui bahwa Asymp Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat diartikan bahwa ada perbedaan antara tes kemampuan matematika dasar mahasiswa sebelum dengan sesudah diberi metode ekspositori. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada pengaruh metode ekspositori pada mata kuliah matematika dasar pada mahasiswa manajemen pendidikan islam. Kata Kunci: Ekspositori, Pretest, Posttest, Matematika Dasar
Sharia insurance comes as a protection option for customers who want a fair insurance concept and in accordance with sharia principles. One of the benefits offered by sharia insurance is the cost of ...managing funds. Keywords in the form of depicting different shapes and presentation could uses a lot of paper, so there are some information that may be difficult for the client to understand. Therefore, this study will introduce an integration model table that can be used as an alternative presentation of summary of illustration sharia insurances. Through this table, the mechanism for managing funds is more clearly, succinctly and sequentially, so that information received by customers is more complete and easier to understand.
