The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, in its opinion of the Committee on Midwifery Practice, points out that planned home birth is a woman's and family's right to experience, but ...also to choose and be informed about, their baby's place of birth. The aim of this study was to understand obstetric nurses' perceptions of planned home childbirth care within the framework of the Brazilian obstetric model.
A qualitative study, with Snowball Sampling recruitment, totaling 20 obstetric nurses through semi-structured interviews between September 2022 and January 2023, remotely, using the Google Meet application and the recording feature. After the data had been collected, the material was transcribed in full and subjected to content analysis in the thematic modality with the support of ATLAS.ti 8.0 software.
Obstetric care at home emerged as a counterpoint to hospital care and the biomedical model, providing care at home based on scientific evidence and humanization, bringing qualified information as a facilitator of access and financial costs as an obstacle to effective home birth.
Understanding obstetric nurses' perceptions of planned home birth care in the context of the Brazilian obstetric model shows the need for progress as a public policy and for strategies to ensure quality and regulation.
ABSTRACT Objective: To understand health professionals' values in the process of thinking and feeling about obstetric care, based on their experienced needs in the care process. Methods: ...Phenomenological study based on the Schelerian framework, with 48 health professionals from four maternity hospitals within the Metropolitan Region II of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Data collection was done through a phenomenological interview; and the analysis, with the Ricoeurian methodological framework. Results: The vital value was signified in care centered on physiological processes, for an individualized and safe monitoring. The ethical value was signified in the attitudes that provide women with autonomy in their way of giving birth, and recognize dialogue as a process of sympathy, affection, and bonding. Conclusion: The resignification of obstetric practice, articulated with public policies in the field of delivery and birth, supported by a vital ethical value, positively contributes to the humanization of care for women.
RESUMEN Objetivo: Comprender valores de profesionales de salud en el proceso de pensar y sentir del cuidado obstétrico, basándose en sus carencias vividas en el proceso de cuidar. Métodos: Estudio fenomenológico fundamentado en el referencial scheleriano, con 48 profesionales de salud de cuatro maternidades de la Región Metropolitana II de Rio de Janeiro. Recolecta de datos fue por entrevista fenomenológica; y el análisis, con referencial metodológico ricoeuriano. Resultados: El valor vital fue significado en el cuidado centrado en procesos fisiológicos, para un acompañamiento individualizado y seguro. El valor ético fue significado en actitudes que posibilitan autonomía de la mujer en su manera de parir y reconocen el diálogo como proceso de relación de simpatía, afectividad y construcción de vínculo. Conclusión: La resignificación de la práctica obstétrica, articulada a políticas públicas en el campo del parto y nacimiento, sustentada por un valor vital-ético, contribuye positivamente en la humanización del cuidado a mujeres.

O valor ético foi significado nas atitudes que oportunizam autonomia da mulher em sua forma de parir e reconhecem o diálogo como processo de relação de simpatia, afetividade e criação de vínculo. Conclusão: A ressignificação da prática obstétrica, articulada com as políticas públicas no campo do parto e nascimento, sustentada por um valor vitalético, contribui positivamente na humanização do cuidado às mulheres.

RESUMO A decisão vacinal de profissionais de saúde tem sido observada em diferentes países, devido ao seu comportamento de hesitação frente à vacinação contra a Covid-19, que pode interferir no ...controle da pandemia. Pretendeu-se identificar os fatores associados à decisão vacinal de profissionais de saúde contra a Covid-19 em publicações de julho de 2020 a julho de 2022. Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases de dados PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science e Cinahl. Das 439 publicações, foram escolhidos 35 artigos para análise. As características sociodemográficas da decisão vacinal revelaram que profissionais não médicos, principalmente enfermeiros, apresentaram maior hesitação. O estudo revelou fatores associados à hesitação vacinal, tais como: dúvidas sobre a eficácia das vacinas e o processo de produção, insegurança pela escassez de estudos, medo dos efeitos colaterais e informações veiculadas em mídias sociais. Em relação à aceitação e à recomendação vacinal, ressaltam-se a vacinação prévia contra a influenza, a confiança na eficácia das vacinas e o receio pelo risco de contágio por Covid-19. A identificação dos fatores associados à decisão vacinal de profissionais de saúde contra a Covid-19 foi estratégica em relação à ampliação da cobertura vacinal, tanto para a proteção da saúde dos profissionais quanto para a da população.
ABSTRACT The vaccine decision of health professionals has been observed in different countries, due to their hesitation behavior in the face of vaccination against COVID-19, which can interfere with the control of the pandemic. It was intended to identify the factors associated with the vaccination decision of health professionals against COVID-19 in publications from July 2020 to July 2022. An Integrative Literature Review was carried out in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and CINAHL databases. Of the 439 publications, 35 articles were chosen for analysis. The sociodemographic characteristics of the vaccine decision revealed that non-medical professionals, mainly nurses, had greater vaccine hesitancy. The study revealed factors associated with vaccine hesitancy, such as: doubts about the effectiveness of vaccines and the production process, insecurity due to lack of studies, fear of side effects and information conveyed on social media. Regarding vaccine acceptance and recommendation, prior vaccination against influenza, confidence in the effectiveness of vaccines and fear of the risk of contagion by COVID-19 stand out. Identifying the factors associated with the vaccination decision of health professionals against COVID-19 was strategic in relation to expanding vaccination coverage, both to protect the health of professionals and the population.
Objetivo: desvelar os significados valorativos das enfermeiras em um banco de leite humano, sobre a teleconsulta de enfermagem. Método: estudo fenomenológico sustentado na Teoria de Valores de Max ...Scheler, com a realização de entrevista fenomenológica outubro e novembro de 2022, ocorreu com cinco enfermeiras de um banco de leite humano na região metropolitana II do Rio de Janeiro. Os dados colhidos sucederam a análise temática de Bardin. Resultados: emergiram em duas categorias: A teleconsulta de enfermagem e as ações das enfermeiras no processo de doação de leite humano em tempos de covid-19 - um valor de expansão; A teleconsulta de enfermagem no cuidado de doadoras e lactentes assistidos no banco de leite humano – um valor útil em saúde. Conclusão: a teleconsulta foi compreendida com valores que ampliam e garantem o cuidado, melhorando a representação de acesso das usuárias, colaborando com a continuidade do AM e a doação de leite humano.
Objetivo: compreender a percepção da formação de egressos da residência em enfermagem obstétrica. Método: pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa, com 14 egressos da residência ...em enfermagem obstétrica da Universidade Federal do Pará mediante de entrevista semiestruturada pelo aplicativo google meets, durante o período de outubro a dezembro de 2020. Os dados foram transcritos e submetidos à análise de conteúdo com auxílio do software ATLAS.ti 8.0. Resultados: a residência constitui pilar para trajetória profissional, com novos saberes e práticas para construção de competências profissionais, atuando em toda linha de cuidado do ciclo gravídico-puerperal. Mas, o modelo obstétrico centrado no médico e uma atuação volata mais para a burocracia, constituem com limitação da atuação dos egressos. Conclusão: a formação da residência possibilitou para os egressos o seu exercício com segurança, com os conhecimentos adquiridos, mas ainda necessita um amplo movimento para a garantia de sua prática.
To analyze the social representations of nurses who work with assisted human reproduction about the operation with reproductive biotechnologies.
Qualitative approach, supported by the Theory of ...Social Representations, with sixteen participants. Individual, semi-structured interviews, analyzed through the Alceste software.
Pragmatic elements related to nurses' performance from a professional, institutional, and public policy perspective in reproductive biotechnologies emerged, demonstrating the practical dimension of these representations. The characteristics of the professional to act in this area were addressed, showing the lack of information and search for scientificity; precarious perception of the organizational structure of health services; and attributions of nursing care arising from the health care practice in assisted human reproduction.
Social representation is anchored in the link between technology/medicalization and humanization/reception regarding reproductive biotechnologies. Working in assisted human reproduction involves a new and challenging nursing care, requiring specific and ethical knowledge.
Objetivo: analisar os significados da autonomia da enfermagem obstétrica na assistência no Centro de Parto Normal.Metodologia: estudo de caso, realizado entre setembro a novembro de 2020 com 11 ...entrevistas semiestruturadas com enfermeiras obstétricas de um Centro de Parto Normal, Pará, Brasil, por meio do aplicativo WhatsApp®. Os dados foram gravados com o aplicativo Cube ACR e foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo na modalidade temática com o suporte do software ATLAS.ti 8.0.Resultados: a autonomia da enfermagem obstétrica tem como base o processo de trabalho e a aplicabilidade do processo de enfermagem e das evidências científicas, que garantem uma prática segura e qualificada, especialmente no compartilhar entre as mulheres e as enfermeiras para o empoderamento na assistência.Conclusão: a autonomia da enfermeira no Centro de Parto Normal reafirma a tomada de decisão para um cuidado obstétrico que garante seu saber e saber-fazer no cotidiano do cuidado com as mulheres.
