Based on a question posed by global philosophy of religion project regarding the absence of literal attribution of omnibenevolence to God in the Qur’ān, this paper aims to examine how to understand ...perfect goodness in Islam. I will first discuss the concept of perfect goodness and suggest that perfect goodness is not an independent attribute on its own and it is predicated on other moral attributes of God without which the concept of perfect goodness could hardly be understood. I will examine perfect goodness by a specific emphasis on the attribute of justice as one of the conditions to be satisfied by a perfectly morally good being. In so doing, I will appeal to the distinctions made among great-making properties by Daniel Hill, and Al-Ghazālī’s definition of justice by applying them to God’s moral attributes. I will argue that justice has a crucial role in maximality-optimality balance between great-making properties and it seems quite difficult, if not impossible, to conceive of goodness without justice. Having said that, I will claim that the conceptual frame I suggest sheds light on why omnibenevolence is not literally attributed to God in the Qur’ān. Then, I will briefly show how the divine attributes mentioned in the Qur’ān and the discussions about divine names and attributes in the Islamic tradition supports the understanding of perfect goodness I defend. Consequently, I will try to show that far from indicating that the Islamic concept of God doesn’t involve perfect goodness, the Qur’ān establishes the proper meaning of perfect goodness by focusing on its constitutive attributes, and thus provides us with a sound conception of it.
Zatim ću ukratko pokazati kako božanska svojstva spomenuta u Kuranu i rasprave o božanskim imenima i svojstvima u islamskoj tradiciji podržavaju razumijevanje savršene dobrote koju branim.

Backgrounds: Mutation of protein-coding genes and non-coding genes is a factor in psoriasis etiology. Non-coding RNA (ncRNA), which does not have protein-coding capacity, is available in the human ...genome. HOTAIR (HOX Antisense Intergenic RNA) and 7SL-RNA are known as ncRNA. They may play a role in psoriasis pathogenesis. Aims: In our study, we aimed to investigate the level of HOTAIR and 7SL-RNA gene expression in the lesional and perilesional healthy skin of psoriasis patients. Methods: Total RNA isolation from the skin samples was achieved by modifying the RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen, Cat No: 74104) protocol. Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) phase was performed in accordance with the protocol of the relevant brand (WizPure qPCR). Results: 7SL-RNA gene expression decreased in the skin with psoriatic lesions (FC: 0.01; p: 0.028), and this decrease was statistically significant. HOTAIR gene expression decreased (FC: 0.92; p: 0.218), but this decrease was not statistically significant. Conclusions: lncRNAs may play a role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis disease.
Postpericardiotomy syndrome (PPS) is a hypersensitivity reaction characterized by inflammation in pleural, pericardial or lung tissue following cardiac surgery or myocardial infarction. Clinically; ...fever, chest pain, findings related to pleural or pericardial effusion may be seen. In this case report, we wanted to present a case of Down syndrome who was followed up with PPS causing recurrent pericardial effusion after cardiac surgery for 5 months and was successfully treated by opening a pericardial window. PPS is one of the leading causes of post-cardiac morbidity in developed countries, despite all the advances in diagnosis and treatment. The earliest clinical finding is the development of pericardial effusion after the operation. Although pericardiocentesis is performed many times, PPS should be kept in mind in patients with recurrent pericardial effusion, and pericardial window opening should be considered in the treatment.

Salt matrix has recently been introduced as a promising robust platform for embedding colloidal quantum dots to provide them with photo stability for versatile applications. This work demonstrates ...the excitonic interaction amongst high efficiency colloidal InP/ZnS quantum dots embedded in a KCl salt matrix. By varying the donor acceptor ratio within the solid platform, 65% Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) efficiency was attained. Optimizing the donor : acceptor ratio, we demonstrated the first FRET-enabled Cd-free pellets for white light generation possessing a color rendering index (CRI) of 84.7, correlated color temperature (CCT) of 5347.5 K, and a high luminous efficacy of optical radiation value (LER) of 324.3 lm/ W opt . Our study of excitonic interactions within quantum dot-loaded salt matrices will open new possibilities for future versatile optoelectronic applications.

Introduction
Niraparib, a strong poly(adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, contributed significantly to progression-free survival as a maintenance therapy in the ...platinum-sensitive period in both first-line and recurrent ovarian cancer, regardless of the BRCA mutation. Grade 3–4 anemia, which has a manageable side effect profile, especially hematological, is seen in almost 1 out of every 4 patients. To the best of our knowledge, there has been no reported case of pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) induced by niraparib treatment.
Case Report
A 65-year-old woman diagnosed with stage 3 serous carcinoma of the tuba received niraparib front-line maintenance treatment had grade 4 anemia after 3 months of niraparib treatment. She underwent bone marrow aspiration and biopsy because of refractory anemia, which needs red blood cell (RBC) transfusions despite interruption of treatment.
Management and Outcome
The patient was treated with 1 mg/kg methyl prednisolone, after histopathological assessment was consistent with PRCA. The hemoglobin count returned to the normal range with steroid treatment.
Discussion
In daily practice, it should be kept in mind that in the case of refractory anemia induced by niraparib, the underlying cause might be PRCA and can be improved with steroid administration.
A hyper-metabolic pulmonary nodule was detected on .sup.18F-FDG PET/CT in a 65-year-old woman who had been followed up for 12 years without any complaints following treatment for papillary thyroid ...cancer (PTC). Wedge resection was performed to the pulmonary nodule and the pathologic examination revealed PTC metastasis. On the post-therapeutic I-131 scan after radioiodine treatment, focal I-131 uptake was detected at the site of pulmonary wedge resection. At first, this finding was thought to be related to the residual lesion but diagnostic CT demonstrated only focal traction bronchiectasis at that region. In addition, a false-positive I-131 uptake was also detected at the soft tissue just lateral to the femoral heads probably due to inflammation. Background The parameters of oxidative stress advanced oxidation protein products (AOPPs), malondialdehyde (MDA), and S100B and the effect of intensive phototherapy (PT) on these parameters have not ...been studied extensively in newborns with significant hyperbilirubinemia (SH). We aimed to measure the levels of MDA, S100B, and AOPPs in newborns with SH, and to compare newborns with healthy control newborns without hyperbilirubinemia on the basis of these parameters of oxidative stress. In addition, we investigated the effect of intensive PT on these parameters during the treatment of SH and report our findings for the first time in the literature. Methods The study was performed in newborns ( n = 62) who underwent intensive PT because of SH. Newborns without jaundice constituted the control group ( n = 30). Both groups were compared with respect to demographic characteristics and biochemical (laboratory) parameters including MDA, AOPPs, and S100B. MDA, AOPPs, and S100B were also compared before and after intensive PT in the PT group. In the study group, a correlation analysis of demographic characteristics; MDA, AOPP, and S100B values; and changes occurring in MDA, AOPPs, and S100B values due to the effect of intensive PT was performed. Results Serum total bilirubin, S100B, and MDA levels in the PT group before performing PT were significantly higher than those in the control group. In newborns receiving PT serum total bilirubin, MDA and AOPP levels decreased significantly after intensive PT. In correlation analysis, a statistically significant negative correlation was found only between the amount of bilirubin decrease with PT and AOPP levels after PT in the study group. Conclusion Whether the significant decrease in MDA levels, which was higher prior to PT, is due to the decrease in serum bilirubin levels or due to the effect of intensive PT itself remains to be determined in further studies. The decrease in AOPP levels after PT implies that intensive PT has protective effects on oxidative stress.
