This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes based on cognitive aspects in terms of the use of learning media, differences in student learning outcomes in terms of cognitive ...style, the interaction between student learning outcomes based on cognitive aspects in terms of the use of learning media and cognitive styles. The sample was determined using random sampling where the first class as the experimental class used interactive learning media and the second class as the control class applied conventional learning. The instrument used in this study was a cognitive style instrument consisting of 10 questions and an instrument for student learning outcomes in electronics lessons consisting of 15 questions which were declared valid and reliable. The results showed that, student learning outcomes based on cognitive aspects in terms of the use of audiovisual learning media were better than student learning outcomes using visual media, the learning outcomes of students who have a field independent cognitive style are better than students who have a field dependent cognitive style, there is no interaction between student learning outcomes based on cognitive aspects in terms of the use of learning media and cognitive styles. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan aspek kognitif ditinjau dari penggunaan media pembelajaran, perbedaan hasil belajar siswa ditinjau dari gaya kognitif, interaksi antara hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan aspek kognitif ditinjau dari penggunaan media pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan random sampling dimana kelas pertama sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan media pembelajaran dan kelas kedua sebagai kelas kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah instrumen gaya kognitif terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan dan instrumen hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran elektronika yang terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan yang dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan aspek kognitif ditinjau dari penggunaan media pembelajaran audiovisual lebih baik dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media visual, hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field dependent, tidak terdapat interaksi antara hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan aspek kognitif ditinjau dari penggunaan media pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif.

This study is based on the modified empirical model of Kaya Identity introduced by Kaya (Impact of carbon dioxide emission control on GNP growth: interpretation of proposed scenarios, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change/Response Strategies Working Group, 1989). After checking the data for stationarity properties, we employed a fixed-effects estimator prefers by the Hausman test. We, in addition, employed the method of robust least squares to confirm the estimates. The empirical estimates reveal that regressors namely urbanization, industrialization, international trade, and energy use increase environmental pollution, while the impacts of income found are opposite. These findings advise that the management authorities of OPEC countries need to adopt environmentally friendly policies, while regulating environmental pollution to accomplish sustainable economic development in the region.

Although firm growth is an old issue, very limited number of studies have found on the issues of small firm growth. Studies in many countries have focused on some specific growth factors and no ...comprehensive research on this issue is available to draw a conclusion. Based on the concept of the theory of 'Resource Based View (RBV)', current study motivated to see how the resources like finance and financial literacy of owner-manager affect financial growth of small firms and the role government support plays in that relationship. Data was collected through questionnaire from 407 owner-managers of small firms. Using partial least squares, the study found that both finance and financial literacy has strong positive relation with small firm financial growth. Astoundingly, the study uncovered that government support does not moderate the relationships between finance, financial literacy and small firm financial growth in the expected way, which the study argues to be a result of the seemingly weakness of the government support distributions. Therefore, policy makers and practitioners should ensure the better access to financial resources of small firms and required financial literacy of owner-managers as well as effective government support for fostering more growth of small firms.

Partial least squares of structural equation modeling have been used to test research hypotheses by using SmartPLS® 3.0 software. Results: The study's primary finding is that LO has a significantly positive effect on SMEs' performance and this relationship is strengthened under the moderating influence of environmental turbulence (ET). Conclusion: Environmental turbulence (ET) enables SMEs to focus on learning capability to get a more competitive advantage. Moreover, SMEs owner/managers ought to emphasize continuous learning that accentuates the capability to compete with environmental changes. Findings support notifying Pakistan’s Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) in dealings with Manufacturing SMEs in terms of improving their internal capabilities.
