Actual problems are applied issues that are related to vibration isolation of machine assemblies and operator seats in machines. The publication presents some technical solutions of vibration ...isolator systems. These systems are simple in design and include elastic elements with a linear stiffness characteristic, but with a special arrangement to the vibration displacements of the protected object. In systems of vibration isolators "with leap" in a specific range the effect of quasi-zero stiffness of the support is realized with an ideal vibration isolation of the object. Technological and universal technical solution for the vibration-isolating seat of transport machine operator is described in the publication.

The design of the auto-CVT which is potentially capable to provide full use of the available power in the mechanical drive, stationary and energetically perfect mode of operation of the engine at variable type of external loading is considered. Mathematical model of mechanical auto-CVT obtained by using Gibbs function - the acceleration energy. The results of the research are on the basis of which it is possible to perform design calculations of the links and connections of the auto-CVT, including its automatic control chain.

The analytical method for determining the magnitude of the contact pressure in a cylindrical interference joint with shallow depth grooves is described in the publication. This method takes into ...account the geometric features and the relative position of the external members. The calculated dependences are based on the Lame's formulas are given in the publication. They can be used to assess the bearing capacity of the joint at any macrogeometry of the joint, independently of the number, shape, size of grooves and their location. The method is different by simplicity and visibility. It provides sufficient accuracy of results for engineering calculations.

A universal technique to transform general mechanical systems in rotative ones with a constant equivalent inertial characteristic is proposed. The technique is based on attaching of a kinematic chain ...with a program change of inertial characteristic to a reduction link. The inertial characteristic in addition to the main one forms the reduction link with a constant equivalent moment of inertia. Such modification of a mechanical drive eliminates parametric power drive excitation, reduces the level of dynamic load in links and drive joints, that results in reliability and system resource improvement.
The publication describes a universal calculation method of the average contact pressure in the interference joint with different lengths of fitting parts. The formulas given in the article were ...obtained under the condition of uniform radial displacement of the mating surface of that of the joined parts, the deformation of which causes the concentration of contact pressure at the mating boundaries after assembly.The method provides sufficient accuracy for engineering calculations. It is distinguished by physic clarity, visibility and the simplicity of usage. It can be used for design and verification of calculations of smooth cylindrical joints with a long shaft and a long external member.
The possibility of developing the reciprocating machines crosshead drive analogue which main advantage is the reaction absence of the resource-defining translational pair is shown. For achieving the ...objective, the fundamental postulate of mechanics about the solid body movements addition is used and it is proved that when two identical in module counter rotations around the parallel axes are added, the final translational movement used for changing the power machine working cavity volume is obtained. In the proposed mechanical drive the side reaction eliminating conditions of the resource-defining translational pair are developed.
The analysis of technical and technological solutions to reduce the influence of dynamic intermating process to vibroactivity of a gear drive is carried out. The problem of a complete elimination has ...no solution due to a discrete way of power flow transformation by a gear drive. It is shown that a reduction of mesh stiffness is a controlled parameter in vibroactivity decrease. We have proposed to reduce the stiffness by means of a gear rim radial cut that provides small initial and stepwise variable stiffness of gearing. The technical solutions resulting in a smooth, dependent on a power flow running of stiffness by means of built-in control chain and usage of elastomeric materials are given. As a result, it is noted that the reduction of mesh stiffness at the same time leads to the increase in static deformation δ, and the dynamic load under intermating decreases. Elastomeric parameters' variation t can provide the achievement of calculated mesh stiffness, depending on a variable power flow.
A design approach of mechanical systems with adaptation property to actual parameters is developed. In particular, a design of a flat-belt Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with a variable ...transfer function depending on the level of a transformed power flow is proposed. This is achieved by means of a control chain, built in directly in auto CVT's pulley. It is shown that if the control chain is built in both CVT's pulleys, then in a broad range of external loading change, the chain can be executed on the basis of resilient elements with a linear characteristic.
