Thin-walled parts processed by five-axis CNC machine tools are widely used in aerospace and other fields due to their excellent performance. However, due to the weak rigidity of thin-walled parts, ...they are prone to deformation during milling, which poses great difficulties for efficient and precise machining of thin-walled parts. This paper introduces the classification and corresponding machining methods of thin-walled parts. By analyzing the causes and evolution mechanisms of errors in the machining process of thin-walled parts, and combining modeling methods with factors such as milling force, residual stress, and cutting chatter, the current research status of domestic and foreign scholars on deformation factors is summarized. At the same time, two deformation control methods, adaptive machining and error compensation, were introduced. Finally, the overall research status of thin-walled parts machining was summarized, and prospects for efficient and precise machining of thin-walled parts were proposed based on actual machining conditions.
The aim of this current study was to explore the risk factors associated with failure of hydrostatic reduction of intussusception in pediatric patients.Patients with intussusception treated with ...hydrostatic reduction from January 2010 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. Candidates for inclusion in the study were children from 0 to 18 who were diagnosed with intussusception and treated with hydrostatic reduction. We excluded the patients who had contraindications for hydrostatic reduction, which included peritonitis, perforation signs, and non-responsive shock that required surgery. The data collected included: demographic data (sex, age, and bodyweight), symptoms (vomiting, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, diarrhea, distention, constipation, and duration of symptoms), signs (temperature, palpable mass, and location of the mass), and other investigations (white blood cell counts, neutrophils, electrolytes, and ultrasound findings).The risk factors for failure of hydrostatic reduction of intussusception were analyzed using the univariable analysis and the multivariable analysis. In the univariable model, the significant risk factors for failure of hydrostatic reduction of intussusception analyzed were age, bodyweight, duration of symptoms, rectal bleeding, constipation, palpable abdominal mass, poor prognosis signs on ultrasound scans and location of mass (the P value for each parameter are stated in ). After the multivariable analysis was done, we found that the significant risk factors for failure of hydrostatic reduction of intussusception were an age of under 1-year-old (OR = 3.915, P = .027), duration of symptoms more than or equal to 48 h (OR = 0.056, P < .001), rectal bleeding (OR = 0.283, P = .003), constipation (OR = 0.086, P < .001), palpable abdominal mass (OR = 0.370, P = .010), and location of mass (left over right side) (OR = 13.782, P < .001).(Table is included in full-text article.)Our study found that an age of under 1-year-old, a duration of symptoms of more than or equal to 48 h, rectal bleeding, constipation, palpable abdominal mass and location of mass (left over right side) were risk factors for the failure of hydrostatic reduction of intussusception.
The tumor immune microenvironment plays a vital role in the metastasis of colorectal cancer. As one of the most important immune cells, macrophages act as phagocytes, patrol the surroundings of ...tissues, and remove invading pathogens and cell debris to maintain tissue homeostasis. Significantly, macrophages have a characteristic of high plasticity and can be classified into different subtypes according to the different functions, which can undergo reciprocal phenotypic switching induced by different types of molecules and signaling pathways. Macrophages regulate the development and metastatic potential of colorectal cancer by changing the tumor immune microenvironment. In tumor tissues, the tumor-associated macrophages usually play a tumor-promoting role in the tumor immune microenvironment, and they are also associated with poor prognosis. This paper reviews the mechanisms and stimulating factors of macrophages in the process of colorectal cancer metastasis and intends to indicate that targeting macrophages may be a promising strategy in colorectal cancer treatment.
The ultrafine phase change fibers (PCFs) with core–sheath structure based on polyethylene glycol/cellulose acetate (PEG/CA) blends were fabricated successfully via coaxial electrospinning for thermal ...energy storage. SEM and TEM images show that cylindrical and smooth phase change fibers are obtained and PEG as a phase change ingredient is encapsulated completely by CA sheath. The morphology of the composite fibers before and after thermal treatment indicates that the prepared fibers are form stable phase change materials (PCMs). The results from DSC demonstrate that the composite fibers impart balanced and reversible phase change behaviors, and phase transition enthalpies of the composite fibers increase with the increasing of PEG content in the fibers, while the phase transition temperatures of the fibers are similar with those of pure PEG. The stress–strain curves show that the ultimate strength and ultimate strain of the composite fibers are lower than those of CA fibers, and they decrease with the increase of PEG content. The PEG/CA composite fibers have extensive applications as a smart material for thermal energy storage and temperature regulation.

This study investigated the impact of different modes of physical exercise on the emotional and cognitive levels of patients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). By exploring the most effective ...intervention types, cycle, frequency, and duration, we aimed to provide evidence-based recommendations for the adjunctive treatment of SUD.
We conducted a systematic search in five databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, and EBSCO, from database inception up to May 2023, and identified 4,255 randomized controlled trials addressing the influence of physical exercise on the emotional and cognitive levels of SUD patients. Data extraction and analysis were performed using Review Manager 5.4 software, focusing on 11 studies that met the inclusion criteria and included 895 participants. Subsequently, a meta-analysis was conducted using Stata 16.0 software, presenting the results in the form of standardized mean differences (SMD) and 95% confidence intervals (CI).
Our findings indicate that physical exercise significantly alleviates anxiety and depression in SUD patients while improving their cognitive function. Specifically, physical exercise was found to reduce anxiety (SMD = -0.726 -1.349, -0.103,
< 0.05) and depression (SMD = -0.666 -1.077, -0.255,
< 0.05) and enhance cognitive levels (SMD = -0.523 -0.887, -0.159,
< 0.05) among patients. Subgroup analysis further revealed that SUD patients benefitted most from physical exercise when engaging in aerobic exercises lasting over 12 weeks, with a frequency exceeding 40 sessions and each session lasting more than 60 min.
In conclusion, our study affirms that physical exercise mitigates anxiety and depression while enhancing cognitive function in SUD patients, making it an effective measure for adjunctive clinical treatment.
Remote sensing image change detection (CD) has witnessed remarkable performance improvements with the guidance of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks and transformers. ...Current CD methods heavily rely on multilayered backbone structures, such as ResNet and Unet, for feature extraction. However, these approaches exhibit limitations in coordinating the utilization of local and global features across different scales. In this article, we introduce a novel cross-scale coordinated siamese (CSC) network to effectively integrate multiscale information. We introduce a cross-scale coordination module (CSCM) within the CSC network to coordinate internal features of the local branch with cross-scale information from adjacent branches, while simultaneously attending to both the local and global regions. Furthermore, to comprehensively capture contextual information, we propose a transformer aggregation module as a decoder to harmonize the output features of CSCM. We extensively evaluate our proposed CSC network on three datasets, namely, LEVIR-CD, WHU-CD, and GZ-CD. The results demonstrate that our CSC network outperforms other leading methods significantly in terms of F1-score and intersection over union evaluation metrics.
Activity monitoring, a crucial task in many applications, is often conducted expensively using video cameras. Effectively monitoring a large field by analyzing images from multiple cameras remains a ...challenging issue. Other approaches generally require the tracking objects to attach special devices, which are infeasible in many scenarios. To address the issue, we propose to use RF tag arrays for activity monitoring, where data mining techniques play a critical role. The RFID technology provides an economically attractive solution due to the low cost of RF tags and readers. Another novelty of this design is that the tracking objects do not need to be equipped with any RF transmitters or receivers. By developing a practical fault-tolerant method, we offset the noise of RF tag data and mine frequent trajectory patterns as models of regular activities. Our empirical study using real RFID systems and data sets verifies the feasibility and the effectiveness of this design.

A 10-year-old girl with isolated and mild unilateral congenital ptosis showed eyelid retraction in ptotsis eye when smiling together with a lid lag on downgaze. She didn't have any systematic and ocular diseases other than myopia and astigmatism.Eyelid retraction during smiling is 5 mm, resulting in a significant difference in the height of bilateral palpebral fissures.As for ptosis, is mild.The margin to reflex distance 1 is 1.0 mm on the right eye(ptosis eye) and 3.0 mm on the left eye. A lid lag of 1.0 mm on downward gaze was noted on the right, she could close her eyes fully while sleeping.The ice pack test, laboratory test for thyroid function, whole-exome sequencing (WES) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) of the orbital and ocular motor nerves showed normal results.Her symptoms alleviated after 6 months, with the retraction of the right upper eyelid when smiling was approximately 3 mm, thus the difference in the palpebral fissure height when smiling was smaller than that at the initial presentation.
Blepharoptosis may accompanied with abnormal innervation like eyelid retraction, this phenomenon can be alleviated with age.The results of the levator muscle function test should be carefully examined to determine whether it is ptosis in an impaired innervation eyelid.
