The paper touches on the up-to-date problem concerning the role of the public opinion in politics. The process of democratic transformation causes and must cause an increase in the role the citizens ...play in coping with various matters and making appropriate decisions. The thing is that those who decide should take the public opinion into consideration. Specialised institutes carry out polls pointing in this way at the atmosphere and the opinion of the pubic. Spokespersons also play their important role. In fact the efficient governing is hardly possible without knowing the public opinion, which particularly matters during the election campaign. The author takes up a number of problems regarding the poll and moulding the public opinion.
Każda dyscyplina naukowa dąży do zachowania tożsamości. Ramy dyscyplin są określone, np. w filozofii, socjologii, historii, ekonomii, psychologii, i w ich obrębie specjalizują się pracownicy, tak ...naukowi, jak i dydaktyczni. W nauce istnieje pojęcie pól naukowych kompetencji, a w ich ramach – problem naukowych specjalizacji – są dziedziny wiedzy i wąsko pojętych ram specjalizacji naukowej. W nich występują pola naukowej kompetencji i koncepcje specjalizacji naukowych. Historia pokazuje istnienie ściśle wytyczonych granic pól istniejących w całokształcie wiedzy o jednostce ludzkiej i społeczeństwie w poszczególnych jej dyscyplinach. To ogranicza występowanie tzw. omnibusów naukowych i dydaktycznych. W praktyce mamy do czynienia z problemem pola kompetencji naukowych i granic specjalności (specjalizacji). Występuje trudność w określeniu pogranicza między poszczególnymi dyscyplinami (pedagogika-psychologia, pedagogika-socjologia, pedagogika-filozofia, politologia-historia itp.). Jak wytyczyć granice podziału naukowych i dydaktycznych zainteresowań, działalności pracowników? Na tym tle stale toczą się spory i dyskusje.
