In the article, the mechanical and electromechanical starting characteristics of an asynchronous electric drive of a two-piston ship compressor are investigated by a numerical method. A distinctive ...feature of the operation of the electric drive of a reciprocating compressor is that its load torque changes with a certain frequency. The dependence of the load torque on the shaft of the electric drive of the piston compressor on the angle of rotation is presented in the form of a Fourier series. Moments of inertia are reduced to a single system that performs a rotary motion. Mechanical and electromechanical starting characteristics are constructed. The estimation of the degree of torque pulsations on the shaft is made. It is determined that the compressor has a large amplitude of torque ripple on the shaft, which, in turn, affects the magnitude of the current ripple in the electric drive.
In order to implement and demonstrate all the processes associated with the real stability trial system on vessels, a ship’s model was made. The developed model consists of electrical and hardware ...parts. It is concluded that the model is applicable for the study of issues of automatic control of the ship’s list, simulating various loading options. Scalable loading studies of various types and sizes of cargo were carried out. The results of the study showed the correct operation of the model according to a specified algorithm. To work with the microcontroller and to code, the mathematical modeling environment Matlab/Simulink was used. The results of the study showed that the created control system is able to secure the vessel during various types of loading operations, speed up the loading process, thus reducing the time spent at the port stay and save port costs.
The structure and study of the starting characteristics of the electric drive of piston ship compressor refrigeration plant using a mathematical model of unbalanced load moment are made in the ...article. The dependence of the shaft load of the electric drive of a piston compressor on the angle of rotation is presented in the form of a mathematical model. It was determined that by adding a variable moment of inertia of a flywheel to the model, creating a moment of inertia, the pulsation of rotational speed and current at the steady state decrease, and the start time also becomes less, which favorably affects the operation of the device. The possibility of installing a flywheel of variable moment of inertia on the electric drive shaft of a reciprocating compressor are studied. Also, the feasibility of this installation is shown.
The factors influencing the quality of power are investigated. The necessity of using active filters in autonomous power systems is determined. A model of an active filter for a ship's closed-feed ...system with a nonlinear non-symmetric load has been designed. Simulation was performed with various parameters of the system. Based on the results of simulation, it is concluded that a compensating active current filter will improve the quality of electrical energy onboard ship. The filter removes non-symmetry, smoothes current harmonics and compensates for the reactive component of currents. The use of this circuit design is advisable for autonomous systems of limited power on ships of the merchant fleet

Today, the tasks of analyzing the influence of frequency fluctuations on the quality of the rectified voltage are not well understood, and the problems of compensating for such an effect have not ...been solved. The aim of the work is to study the influence of frequency fluctuations of autonomous electric power systems on the quality indicators of the voltage of controlled rectifiers and the development of hardware and software tools designed to reduce the effect of frequency fluctuations on the rectified voltage. Object of study: is an autonomous (ship) electric power system with engines up to 2000 kW. To test theoretical studies, simulation was used in the Matlab-Simulink environment with parallel experimental studies. As a result of research, it was found that specialized pulse-phase control systems can reduce the influence of frequency fluctuations to the required values, but lead to a certain complication of rectifier control systems.
