Metal oxides incorporated polymer nanocomposites exhibit outstanding optical, electrical and mechanical properties, providing their potential applications in optoelectronic devices, energy storage, ...sensors and many other fields. We studied the effect of CZN nanoparticles on the dielectric permittivity of the BTO/PVDF nanocomposite. CuO/ZnO/Ni2O3 (CZN) nanoparticles were prepared via hydrothermal method. To improve the dielectric performance of three phase polymer nanocomposite BaTi03/PVDF(BTO/PVDF), CZN nanoparticles were reinforced into the matrix and the composite films were casted using spin coater. For 10 weight percent loading of CZN in BTO/PVDF matrix, the dielectric constant was found to be 10 5 and the discharged energy density 380 mJ/cm 3 with the efficiency above 61 percent. The reason of improvement was revealed by X-ray diffraction data and the SEM images. It is found that uniform distribution of nanofiller in ceramic- polymer composite and the increase of the beta phase of PVDF composite result in enhanced polarization and improvement in dielectric permittivity of BTO/PVDF as well as enhanced energy storage density. We found an expanding effect of CZN nanoparticles that improves the system dielectric response. These findings manifest a quantitative method to analyse the energy storage performance of capacitors fabricated with composite dielectrics.
