Addressing recent attempts to articulate the social dimensions of the aesthetic within accounts of contemporary art, this article considers how the type of understanding generated has, contrary to ...the socially pertinent claims ostensibly being proposed, demonstrated an ongoing distrust and fear of heteronomy. It is argued that far from offering a corrective to asocial notions of autonomy, such perspectives on the debates over 'art and politics' do not even deliver an adequate conception of 'social autonomy', but instead contain, and thereby neutralise, the very heteronomous forces to which they appeal to enliven the discourse of contemporary practice. The essay tracks how this privileging of autonomy can be found in Jacques Rancière's discussions of the avant-garde, and suggests that this approach circumscribes an aporia whose dynamics are one-sidedly weighted and which evacuates content from heteronomy's moments of transitivity.

The aim of this essay is to analyze how the American language poets' presence in France corresponds to the significant interest of some French publishers in the avant-garde. To this end, an ...historiographical analysis is carried out on the production, and dissemination of the language poets's work published in France between 1975 and 2018 in 9 publishers. including 40 authors, and 104 different titles involved in experimentalism and internationalism. The emphasis of both these poets and editors on avant-garde is consistent with what Peter burger calls a "historically necessary newness," which has discursive implications at the iterary, political, social, and consciousness level. This approach is particularly evident in these poets' interest in the role of language, problem of representation and com modification of poetry. Coincidentally, one can verify how the French editors who published these experimental poets shared the same discursive and aesthetic propositions.

Besides the Have & Be deal, proceeds will refinance its $500m 1.8% senior notes due in February. Speciality chemical company Albemarle Corp, rated Baa2/BBB, attracted a $2bn order book for a $500m trade comprising a a $200m three year floater at 105bp over Libor and a $300m 10 year fixed rate tranche at 170bp over Treasuries.
