Amaç: Kistler etrafı bağ doku ile çevrili, iç yüzü epitelle döşeli, sıvı ya da yarı sıvı kıvamda materyal içeren patolojik yapılardır. Çenede epitel artıklarının fazla bulunması nedeniyle kistler sık ...görülür. Amacımız Konya ili ve çevresinde 2009-2014 yılları arasında tedavi edilen çene kistlerinin klinikopatolojik özelliklerini literatür bilgileri ile birlikte değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamızda 2009-2014 yılları arasında Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalı’na kist ön tanısı ile başvuran 274 olgunun histopatolojik özellikleri, klinik ve radyolojik bulgular eşliğinde retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Olguların %54,7’ü radiküler kist , %17,8’i dentigeröz kist ve %12,4’ü odontojenik keratokisttir. Diğer olgular : %12,4’ü kist epiteli içermeyenler, %0,7’si erüpsiyon kisti , %0,7’si lateral periodontal kist, %0,7’si nazopalatinal duktus kisti İnsiziv kanal kisti ve %0,3’ü paradental kisttir. Tüm kistlerin %58,1’i mandibula, %41,9’u maksilla yerleşimlidir. Serimizde erkek / kadın oranı 1,4 bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmada elde edilen veriler genel olarak literatür ile uyumluluk göstermektedir. Çenenin kistik lezyonlarının klinik ve rekürrens oranı farklı özellikler sergileyebilir. Benzer histopatolojik özellikler göz önüne alındığında epitel içermeyen lezyonlarda kesin tanının radyolojik ve klinik bulgular ile birlikte verilmesi önem kazanmaktadır. Odontojenik keratokist’te nüks sıklıkla görülebilir. Ülserasyon, erozyon, inflamasyon ve Rusthon cisimcikleri ayırıcı tanıda güvenilir bulgular değildir
İskeletsel tek taraflı posterior çapraz kapanış özellikle yetişkinlerde tedavisi zor bir anomalidir. Genç bireylerde bu problemin çözümünde kolaylıkla uygulanan hızlı maksiler genişletme, ...yetişkinlerde maksillanın çevre yüz kemikleriyle yaptığı artikülasyonların rijiditesindeki artma nedeniyle maksillada yapılan kortikotomiler yardımıyla uygulanmaktadır. Bu yolla yapılan çift taraflı genişletme darlık olmayan tarafta da genişlemeye sebep olmakta, bu da tedavi süresini uzatmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda 16 yaşında, tek taraflı posterior çapraz kapanışı olan bayan hastada, tek taraflı kortikotomi ve hızlı üst çene genişletmesini takiben yapılan ortodontik tedavi sunulmuştur. Ekspansiyon sonrası darlık olmayan tarafta aşırı bir genişlemeye sebep olmadan, iyi bir okluzyon ve estetik bir gülümseme elde edilmiştir.
Bisphosphonate compounds have been used for the improvement of the lives of cancer patients by reducing complications such as hypercalcemia. They are preferred to treat bone metastases of solid ...tumors such as breast, prostate and lung cancer, and also utilized in the management of lytic lesions of multiple myeloma. Intravenous administration of high doses of bisphosphonates for the management of benign conditions occasionally lead to the development of osteonecrosis of the jaws. In many cases lesions appear spontaneously, or following an infection or a dental extraction. At present, there is no definite treatment for this particular druginduced necrosis of bone except conservative debridement of bone lesions, oral antibiotics and local irrigations. It is important to recognize the clinical and radiographic features of the bisphosohonate osteonecrosis of the jaws in order to provide early diagnosis and to improve the care of these patients. ÖZET Bisfosfonat bileşikleri malignansiye bağlı olarak gelişen hiperkalseminin düzenlenmesinde ve ayrıca, meme, prostat ve akciğer kanserlerine bağlı tümörlerin ve multipl myelomaya bağlı metastatik lezyonların tedavisinde kanser hastalarının hayat kalitelerini iyileştirmek amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Bisfosfonatların yüksek dozlarda intravenöz olarak uygulanmaları nedeniyle ilaca bağlı bir yan etki olarak çenelerde osteonekroz gelişebilmektedir. Lezyonlar kendiliğinden oluşabildiği gibi, bir enfeksiyon ve diş çekimi genellikle olayı hızlandırmaktadır. İlaca bağlı olarak gelişen bu özgün kemik nekrozu için henüz kesin bir tedavi bulunmamaktadır. Konservatif yaklaşım uygulanan vakalarda, kemiğin açığa çıkmış olduğu hastaların büyük bölümünde oral antibiyotikler, antienflamatuvarlar ve açık yara bölgesinin lokal irrigasyonu önerilmektedir. Bisfosfonat osteonekrozuna ait klinik ve radyografik özelliklerin iyi bilinmesi ve bu tür hastalarda klinik ve radyolojik belirtilerin değerlendirilmesi, erken tanı ve tedavi açısından da önem taşımaktadır. Toutefois, cette production critique semble fournir davantage de perspectives à portée générale que des explications précises et déterminantes.Il conviendrait en somme de recourir à un point de vue résolument théologique. Maintes fois, Claudel a dʼailleurs pris soin de mentionner combien la lecture chrétienne et spirituelle de son oeuvre était denature à expliquer autant quʼà révéler le sens et la virtù de sa démarche créatrice.
The current explanations of olefin and vinyl monomer polymerization propose that monomer molecules are successively added one by one to the growing polymer chain. This may be true if the monomer ...molecules exist as individual species in a polymerizing system, e.g. in dilute solutions of monomer. There are cases, however, in which monomer molecules are organized: bulk liquid monomer, solid monomer, a monomer monolayer adsorbed on a support, etc. Various supra-molecular species and particles of monomer exist in such cases. In the 1960-ties, Semenov, Kargin and Kabanov proposed a theory of organized monomer polymerization. In the last 25 years, our research group has further developed and applied that theory to various polymerizing systems: the radical polymerization of compressed ethene gas, the radical polymerization of liquid methyl methacrylate, olefin polymerization by transition metals and by Al-based catalysts. An outline of the main achievements are presented in this article.
Savremena tumacenja polimerizacije olefina i vinilnih monomera pretpostavljaju da se jedan po jedan molekul monomera dodaje rastucem polimernom lancu. Ovo moze biti istina ako molekuli monomera postoje kao pojedinacne cestice u polimerizacionom sistemu, npr. u razblazenim rastvorima monomera. Medjutim, postoje slucajevi kod kojih su molekuli monomera organizovani: u masi tecnog monomera, u cvrstom monomeru, u monosloju monomera adsorbovanom na nosacu i dr. U tim slucajevima postoje razlicite nadmolekulske vrste i cestice. Semenov, Kargin i Kabanov su 1960-tih godina predlozili teoriju polimerizacije organizovanih monomera. U prethodnih 25 godina, nasa istrazivacka grupa je dalje razvila i primenila ovu teoriju na razlicite polimerizacione sisteme: radikalna polimerizacija komprimovanog gasovitog etena, radikalna polimerizacija tecnog metilmetakrilata, polimerizacija olefina pomocu prelaznih metala i pomocu aluminijumskih katalizatora. U ovom radu su prikazana nasa glavna dostignuca u ovoj oblasti.
INTRODUCTION: Treacher Collins Syndrome (TCS), a rare autosomal dominant disorder, primarily affects the development of facial structures. Although surgical reconstruction is the treatment of choice ...for auricular deformities that result from TCS, the implant-retained auricular prosthesis must be considered when surgical reconstruction is not possible.CASE REPORT: In this case report, reconstruction of the bilateral congenitally missing ears of a patient resulting from TCS with implant-retained facial prosthesis was described. Three extraoral implants were placed at bilateral defect sites. After 3-month healing period, osseointegration was confirmed manually objectively by means of resonance frequency analysis. Implant-retained silicone auricular prostheses with bar-clips attachments were fabricated. Follow-up examination was carried out every 6 months.CONCLUSION: After 4 years of function, implants were successful, however deterioration of the prosthesis was observed and replacement prostheses were provided. Prosthetic rehabilitation of the patient resulted in acceptable functional and cosmetic results and enabled the patient return comfortably to society.
TANITIM: Treacher Collins Sendromu (TCS) başta yüz yapılarının gelişimini etkileyen, nadir görülen, otozomal dominant bir bozukluktur. TCS olgularında kulak deformitelerinin tedavisinde cerrahi rekonstrüksiyon yöntemleri ilk tedavi seçeneği olarak düşünülür. Cerrahi yöntemlerin uygulanamadığı durumlarda implant destekli kulak protezleri düşünülür.OLGU BİLDİRİMİ: Bu olgu bildiriminde TCS sonucu çift taraflı kulak deformitesine sahip bir hastada implant destekli kulak protezi uygulaması sunulmuştur. Her bir defekt bölgesine 3 adet ekstra oral implant yerleştirilmiştir. Üç aylık iyileşme dönemi sonunda implantların osseointegrasyonu hem manuel olarak hem de rezonans frekans analizi yöntemi ile objektif olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bar-klips ataçman sistemine sahip implant destekli silikon protezler yapılmıştır. Hasta 6 aylık kontrollere çağrılarak değerlendirilmiştir.SONUÇ: Hastanın 4 yıllık takibi sonucunda implantların başarılı olarak fonksiyon gördüğü gözlenmiştir. Ancak silikon protezin yapısındaki bozulma sebebiyle yeni bir protez yapılmıştır. Protezler hastaya fonksiyonel ve estetik açıdan uygun bir tedavi seçeneği olmuş ve hastanın toplum yaşamına geri dönmesini sağlamıştır.
Hızlı üst çene genişletmesi (RME) iskeletsel seviyede meydana gelen üst çene darlığının tedavisi amacıyla sıklıkla kullanılan bir ortodontik tedavi yöntemidir. RME ile sadece daralmış üst çene ...genişlemekle kalmaz aynı zamanda üst çenenin genişlemesine bağlı olarak nazal hava yolu boyutlarında ve burun solunumunda artış, tensör ve levatör veli palatini kaslarında gerilmelere bağlı olarak ise östaki tüpünün fonksiyonlarında düzelme ve orta kulak iltihabında azalma da meydana gelmektedir. RME'nin altını ıslatma alışkanlığı üzerine de iyileştirici etkiye sahip olduğu pek çok yazar tarafından bildirilmiştir. Bu makalede RME'nin tıbbi faydaları ile ilgili literatürler gözden geçirilmiştir. Anahtar kelimeler: Hızlı üst çene genişletmesi, nazal hava yolu direnci, iletim tipi işitme kaybı, altını ıslatma. Abstract Rapid maxillary expansion (RME) is a orthodontic treatment procedure which has been routinely used to correct transversal maxillary skeletal constriction. RME not only expands the constricted maxilla, but also results in an increase in nasal dimensions and improvement in nasal respiration, normal Eustachian tube functions with stretching in tensor and levator veli palatini muscles and a reduction in the middle ear infections. A lot of authors have informed that RME was effective on the healing of nocturnal enuresis, additionally. The purpose of this article is to review of this literatures related to medical profits of RME. Films like Viridiana (Luis Buñuel, 1961) are mentioned too, where da Vinci’s composition occurs like an allegorical extension of a contemporary story, enriched both symbolically and iconographically.

En el presente artículo se utilizan dos estudios de caso de mitos y rituales relacionados con Zeus y su reinado para sugerir nuevas formas de interpretar algunos pasajes clave de la Ilíada. El primer ...caso se centra en la veneración ritual del cetro de Agamenón en Queronea, mientras que el segundo caso examina las características del mito del rey lapita Ceneo en relación con el culto al héroe. Se expone un método de interpretación de lo que podría considerarse “religión” en Homero, vinculando las ficciones históricas de la épica con hechos de interacción con lo sobrenatural en comunidades griegas antiguas reales(en este caso, en Beocia y Tesalia). Se exploran tales vínculos y sus implicaciones poéticas para las composiciones homéricas más extensas (por ejemplo, los finales de la Ilíada y la Odisea), de modo de evitar el positivismo y la historización, que han sido endémicos de la erudición sobre problemas de este tipo.
